Advice Needed from who PASSED the PMP
Hi, I am following Andrew's course and have now almost finish 60% of the course. But he encourages understanding without taking notes or memorizing. Still, I am going through the course. Now I'm confused, will it work without taking any notes? And, what should I want to do? For me, I am okay with English and understand clearly when he does explain. Only thing, I have doubt, will it work? If there is no need to take notes and only remember, can I keep it all in mind and attend the exam without studying, while just following the videos and mock exam? If there is no need to take any notes during the video explanation, are those videos useless? I want to finish the exam by the end of February. Started from 8th February. Please give me some advice on how to succeed within a month.

Hi Nilojan, you can absolutely take notes. Do what works best for you! I wrote my notes in 2 separate notebooks, plain paper, and 25' x 30' easel paper. Andrew is highlighting that you should understand the concepts and principles to be able to ace the exam because memorizing the info will not help. Once you complete his course, I would recommend that you do as many prep questions as possible in PMI Study Hall because it is the closest to the actual exam. I passed 3xAT on my first attempt using Andrew, Best of luck.
Taking exam this weekend
Hi all! Looking for insight from people that have taken the exam recently. What parts of the exam were the hardest? What should I focus on? I’m so nervous

Hi Amber, my response may be late but I think the hardest was sitting through the time allotted for the exam. To know that you have 75 seconds for each question, reading to ensure that you fully understand the question, sifting through tons of information in your head and watching the clock all at the same time!! Hope you did well.
What I would have done differently!
When I decided to take the PMP exam, I looked at almost every recommended material out there. I read AR's book, Rita's guide, PMBOK 6th (several chapters) and 7th editions (90% of the book), the Agile Practice Guide (read twice), and several other texts that I cannot recall. I also watched several Udemy videos, including Joseph Phillips, ARx2, and DMx2. On YouTube: MR, AR, DM, Edzest, Ricardo Vargas and possibly 20 other PMP prep videos, then I invested in Study Hall Plus and I was considering the PMI exam simulator. But, as you can guess, this approach ended up being a recipe for frustration and burnout. Despite my study mates reassuring me that I was ready, I felt unprepared and rescheduled my exam. Looking back, I wish I had focused on just a few resources, maybe the AR Udemy course, Agile Practice Guide, and Study Hall. I've learned that it's perfectly fine to stick to the same material and review it multiple times instead of trying to cover every book, course, and website like I did. And honestly, I don't think anyone can get 100% on the exam, it's just not realistic. Has anyone else had a similar experience with PMP exam prep?"

@Gabriel Santiago Hi Gabe, sorry to hear about the results. But based on your scores, you did good in the business environ and people domain. I would recommend that you start with the exam outline and go through the process tasks and focus on those areas, then the other domains. You can use this to help with process: https://youtu.be/SK4BITHHFLY?si=Y9oXUMlLkOaFi_Uk and PMaspirant.com has some good resources. All the best on your second attempt.
