Congratulations y'all!
GIDW membership - sales taxes?
I know none of y'all are probably tax pros, but I'm curious...do any of you live in Tennessee? I've been putting everything together for my membership, and I'm pretty sure it qualifies as a "live online course" under TN definitions rather than a "specified digital product," which would mean I don't have to collect sales tax for it. but wondered if anyone else is already in business in this state and knows for sure. My membership just gives them access to a private Discord coworking server, so not unlike access to a FB group, except anyone can be logged into the server and streaming at any time. The charge isn't for the software itself (their Discord membership is free unless they're paying Discord for something directly), so I don't think it falls under the state's requirement to charge for SaaS, either. I'm going to have to get a sales tax number eventually (once I start selling online courses) but up until now all the digital or physical products I've sold have been fulfilled by Etsy & Amazon, who do sales tax collection & remittance on sellers' behalf. ETA: Here's the link to my sales page. I'm excited to get this launched, so I set it up with Paypal payment only, and just checked "tax is included in price" so that I can clean it up manually later if I'm wrong about what classification it falls under. Done is better than perfect, right? 😅

Thanks for the idea, and the kind words! I'm not sure if I trust AI *quite* that far (I noticed that the AI at the top of my google search about this very topic got something wrong) but it should at least give me a more complete view so I can find things I may have missed in looking at my state's website.
Celebrating 750 Days of Daily Sales! 🎉
Today I'm celebrating 750 of daily sales in my business. 🎉 That means for 750 days in a row, someone: ⭐ Bought a course ⭐ Joined a program ⭐ Raised their hand and said “yes” No breaks. No flukes. No viral miracles. And I want to tell you what that ACTUALLY did for me because it’s not what most people think. Daily sales didn’t just change my income. They changed my confidence. I stopped: ❌ Spiraling every time a launch felt quiet. ("Why aren't they buying???") ❌ Questioning whether I was good at business. ("I'll just give up, I guess.") ❌ Feeling like I had to start over every month. (This you too?) When sales happen daily, your nervous system CALMS DOWN. You stop panicking. You stop overthinking. You start making cleaner, braver decisions. And here’s the important part: This wasn’t luck. This wasn’t hustle. This wasn’t being “on” all the time. It was a system. The exact system I teach inside The Signup and Sell Method. You'll Learn How to: ✅ Get new subscribers consistently ✅ Make sales without launching constantly ✅ Turn low-energy days into “still got paid” days And on January 26, I’m hosting a live Hot Seat and Scaling Call for members, where I’ll help you: 💵 Unblock what’s slowing your sales 💵 Simplify your offer ecosystem 💵 Map your easiest path to daily sales If daily sales sound dreamy but unrealistic right now, that’s OK. That’s exactly where most of my 750 days started. 👉 Click here to join The Signup & Sell Method. No pressure. Just an open door and proof that it works. 750 days later, I can say this wholeheartedly: Daily sales are learnable. And I’m very, very good at teaching them. 😉

I managed to get all my client work in the first 4 days of the week, so I had a whole day Friday (and partial days today and tomorrow) to work on my biz. Got a lot done, too!

@Lydia Kyriakidou While I agree that this advice can be bad in some situations, I have to admit, it's literally the advice I used to gain self-confidence. "Acting as if" I am a confident, outgoing person has helped me immensely, because each time I act as if I am, I learn that I can, in fact, do these things (even though they can be very uncomfortable, especially at first!). That gives a bump to my self-confidence, and helps me to climb a little further up my upward spiral. But I've also seen the dark side - people who rent Ferraris and do photo shoots at mansions they don't own, faking social proof, and of course their poor followers who take their advice and spend ridiculous money on things they can't afford, believing this is the way to prosperity. It's definitely a double-edged sword!
