Now a word on compliance (paid influencer)
Hi Everyone, I am 8 weeks from finishing law school with an MSL (Master of Studies in Law), and one of my classes is in Digital Media Transactions. This article came from this week's lesson about FTC social media influencer disclosure requirements. BIG WIN!!!
I know the value of building our own brand channels, content and communities. But one of the things we also need to consider as we grow is our ability to step on to other people's stages. I just got booked on one of the larger YouTube stages (150K subscribers) in my ecosystem. I will be giving a 1 hour talk on 3/26. I am not sharing the link since this isn't the right audience for the topic I'll be speaking about -- but I just want to remind you about the power of collaboration and stepping on to larger stages to grow your own. I hope that gives you some inspiration.

Another day - another idea: Online events
One model that has been working quite well for me is collaborative events. I set them up either on Luma or Eventbrite and host them either on Teams or Streamyard to YouTube Livestream, sometimes both. It builds audience, engagement, content, and the ability to repurpose to others videos, shorts, blogs, mini-books, and social media posts. @Deacon Nick I think when you create a platform for other speakers you get more visibility and more audience. But to be honest if only a few people show up live it's of little consequence because now you have tons of content you can edit into other videos and shorts, and easily transcribe and load into AI for assistance writing blogs, mini-books, reports, ebook, etc. -- and again 5 people invested in preparing, marketing, presenting, and sharing post-event resources. And if you use Streamyard the speakers can also simulstream to their own YouTube and Linkedin. I actually have someone in mind who would make a great co-host with me for what I drafted as your cybersecurity session -- and I'd be happy to host and produce this with you, and take the cybersecurity session -- and 100% confident you could even source the other speakers from this group.

We've got winners!
Our latest contest was for a custom video... yes, I know a lot of you have access to AI's and don't really need it, but these are all extremely well done... the best I've seen tbh. Anyhoo, our winners are @James McDonald , @Philippa Burgess and @William H ! Send me a DM and we'll get it made! You can choose from story videos, where you can have the system write a story based on your prompt, or a video telling facts and such, a promotional video, or a sales story like I use for contractors. Or give me a prompt about something else and let's see what we get! This is truly an incredible AI. (it's not open to the public yet)

Another idea for you: Ambassador and Influencer programs
As you get to know me you will learn I am queen of the ambassador and influencer programs. It started with the Women Techmakers Ambassador (formerly Google) program, then to the Microsoft Student Ambassador (I am a graduate student) program, and Esri YPN (Young Professional Network) Content Ambassador, and also a NICE (National Initiative of Cybersecurity Education) Cybersecurity Career Ambassador, and now I am the point I am just creating my own - National Security Org at USC, GEOINT, GeoAnalytics, and USGS EROS (Earth Resources and Observation Sciences) Center. I also recently signed up as an Amazon Influencer and (as I shared in my other post) have just been accepted to be a Favikon Partner. All of this extends your stage, your reach, and the audience who is already built in to watch and engage with your content. As always, hope this help!
