😳 👀 The "dead" Skool communities I joined taught me more than I expected... and changed how I build mine
I'll be honest with you... when I joined a few communities that only had 25, 50... maybe a hundred members? I didn't expect to learn much from them But I joined them anyway. And boy did they seriously change the way I look at things...the way I decided to build Skool Homeroom What I found was huge wake up call... - Owners who set up a beautiful classroom full of courses... and then disappeared. - Communities where the last post from the owner was two weeks ago. Sometimes more. - Groups with 20, 50, even 100 members where only the owner ever posted... and even those posts had crickets in the comments. - Owners whose activity streak told the whole story... scattered days, lots of white space, and when they did show up, they were engaging everywhere except their own community. Here's what all of those communities had in common. The owner stopped showing up. And when the owner stops showing up... so does everyone else. That's what shaped everything about how I built Skool Homeroom. I show up. I engage. I make it a place worth coming back to. Because a community is only as active as the person running it. Skool Homeroom is the place where all great Skool communities begin... where we help you build, grow, and monetize a community worth showing up to every single day. Don't wait until your community flatlines to figure out what went wrong. Come join us today and see what a thriving community looks like. 🎓 First bell's about to ring... don't be late https://www.skool.com/skool-homeroom-6736/about

@Karin Crawford thank you! It's so important to be active within our own communities. Not just to be discovered, but to set the tone, to give our members a reason to show up so that we can more fully help them with the problems they joined our communities to solve.
Writing content every day is the worst strategy
Most Skool community owners sit down every single day and try to figure out what to post. And every single day it feels hard. It's not that you have nothing to say... it’s that planning, writing, and posting are three separate creative processes... and your brain isn’t great at switching between them on demand. I was doing the exact same thing... but coming up with something every single day on the fly was not fun. So I created a strategy to plan content to post in 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 and to promote it in other communities. I sit down once a week and plan it out and post the content on the right days and in the right communities... without the mental stress. No more blank screen moments. No more "what do I post today" spiral. Just a plan that gives me the space I need to actually show up for my members instead of scrambling to figure out what to say to them. What I realized is that's it not about coming up with most clever or well-thought out piece of content. It's about creating a system that allows me to show up consistently so I can enjoy the fun of running my community instead of stressing about what I "should be" doing. You don't need to post more. You need a system that lets you think ahead so your content works for you instead of drains your mental creativity. How do you plan your content? ...or are you figuring it out day by day? 👇

@Gwynne Conlyn I'm very much nocturnal too!!
Stop building a Skool group. Start building THIS.
Anyone that's been following me knows that I recently moved from Alabama to Mississippi and it was a brutal, chaotic move. Nothing went well. But this picture is what makes it worth it. Thursday night I took a 10 minute drive down to the beach and listened in on a Zoom call as I walked barefoot in the sand. And that's what this is all about. As Skool community builders, we're building more than communities. We're building a quality of life that others can only wish for. That's exactly why I built 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺... to build a life I love, doing work I truly enjoy And on nights like the other night, barefoot in the sand with the Gulf right in front of me, I'm reminded that every hard day is worth it. What does YOUR version of this look like? Tell me in the comments... drop a picture if you have one.... where do you want to be when you're networking on a Zoom call? 👇

🚦 RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT: GRAPHIC CONTENT ⚠️
Don't worry! Not the kind you can't show your kids! This weekend we are bringing back 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁…but this time we’re putting GRAPHICS in the spotlight. I’ve noticed something on campus 👀A lot of amazing communities and offers are getting passed over simply because the visuals aren’t stopping the scroll... or are not showing up at all 🫣 So today… we fix that. Together. 🚦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗦: • Drop your one-liner OR graphic • One per comment (but as many comments as you’d like) • Give and receive thoughtful, honest feedback • Once you get the GREEN LIGHT ✅→ 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 (community, offer, socials, etc.) ⚠️ Friendly reminder: Green lights aren’t freebies. Only give one when it’s truly clear, strong, and ready. We are helping each other stretch a little beyond our comfort zones and grow here! 🔥𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗟𝗘: The person with the most helpful replies + meaningful engagement will win: 🎁 A 24-hr pinned post in the group 🎁 3 Pinterest pins driving traffic back to it... and yes… these are evergreen, meaning they can keep working for you long after it's no longer pinned 🎁 A 30-minute creative session with me to dial everything in 💡 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗪𝗜𝗡: It’s not about having the best graphic or one-liner. It’s about how you show up. ✨ The most helpful ✨ The most engaged ✨ The one lifting others up in the comments 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯. 😏 Not feeling the game today? Want to skip straight to the spotlight? You can grab the Spotlight Bundle and we’ll go straight to refining your message, your graphics, and your visibility...𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨! 👉 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗕 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗟𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗟𝗔𝗕. So yes…This post contains graphic content 😉 Just the kind that helps your message actually get seen. 🚦 Drop your first move below…
