How to post in someone else's community (and actually add value)
Huge shoutout to @Brenda Rigney for encouraging everyone here to practice visibility through genuinely helpful engagement! 👏 This is (IMO) one of the best ways to help our nervous systems get more comfortable with becoming more visible. This has come up recently in both the Offer Visibility Challenge I'm running in my paid community and in the joint mastermind I run with @Katya McEwen -- seems like it's top of mind for a lot of us right now -- so I thought it might be helpful to some of you in here too 😊 Several of my members have asked for guidance on how to create insights posts in communities to increase your visibility without looking like self-promo masquerading as value. So of course I made a resource for that 🤗 This resource guide will help you learn how to create authentic insights posts in communities like this one, that will: 🔥 help increase your visibility, 🤝 help you make connections, AND 🙌 help the community owner engage their members and move them toward success. >>Check out the Guide<<

@Kelly Huskins So glad it was helpful! We all have such great insights we can share, but sometimes lack the framework to do that in a way that doesn't risk getting deleted... which too often leads to not posting at all.

Stay away from "Good work" or "Thank-you" comments. Those comments typically die, and you want to create a thread of conversation 3️⃣ Once you get to Level 2 (5 points) you can now starting posting a question to the community or share an insight (without links). Keep these short and engaging with a WHAT question. Capturing member's perspectives and opinions is how to grow your points. Don't try to be the guru. Create learning with others. 4️⃣ Then you'll see you're moving further up to Level 3, 4, 5. Now you are able to post about your free and paid offers in your own communities, and apply to be a speaker in our next summit. See our posting and commenting guidelines for more details Did I also mention there are rewards with training and tools that 🔓 unlock in the classroom as you reach a new level.? It's not about competition, it's about gratitude for your time and effort in our community.

I loved the way you framed engagement as so much more than just gamification for the sake of the leaderboard! Practicing engagement in other communities has helped me so much in how I approach my own communities -- and as a great by-product, it makes keeping the 🔥 much easier.
