23rd Birthday + Client Results
Yesterday was my 23rd birthday, and I got to spend it in New York!? My inner child is healing πŸ˜… But what I really wanna talk about today, is how things have been going with my main client (and an offer for business owners looking to grow a YouTube audience) Andrew recently made a post about how to make money online as a beginner, and he mentioned how I'm currently helping a business owner grow their audience on YouTube. The conversation it started was very interesting, and I saw a lot of people confused as to how a beginner can help someone else grow an audience. Well here's the thing, in my opinion, they can't. You shouldn't be looking at ways to make money as a beginner anyway. Because if it can be done by a complete beginner, it's not actually that valuable, and therefore isn't long term sustainable. Instead, I think you should focus on learning and acquiring skills that a lot of people can't do, learn how to build a business that most people can't, it won't make you money in the beginning, but it'll make you a hell of a lot more money in the long term. I spent years learning YouTube, from video editing, to storytelling, thumbnails, research and just generally what makes channels grow. Eventually I managed to get my own channel to roughly 4k subscribers through long-form content, while doing all of the above myself. Enter entrepreneurs. Someone who's already doing 6-7 figures per year online, who knows the value in building an audience on YouTube, but knows nothing about how to get started. I'm now equipped to not only help them grow based on my knowledge and understanding of the platform (how to research, how to use it to figure out viral video ideas, how to read analytics etc) but I can also literally do it for them. Come up with the viral videos for them Do the packaging for them Script them Optimise it for retention while also telling a good story Edit it for them Review analystics Adjust with every lesson from each upload. Now the only thing they have to do is recordd the videos, and approve edits/packaging.

@Jamie Barclay SEA 🀩
Synthesizer Meetup - NY!
Last week I had a opportunity to meet with @Jamie Barclay & @Mia Cardenas in New York! Their story is unique because they have met in this group and now they are together. It is still crazy to me... There is a chance that without this community that wouldn't have met. This is why I believe in communities as much as I do. You never know what will happen by sending a DM to someone. Even me and @Andrew Kirby met because of this community.

Dear Andrew Kirby..
This is a story so audacious, so over-the-top ridiculous, that it almost doesn't seem real. Heck even I'm still struggling to believe it's real, but for anyone with an open mind, here we go.. I first discovered Andrew in 2020. He was posting videos about productivity and self-help, and I found them incredibly valuable, so I stuck around and subscribed. But soon enough I realized he was selling a cohort program on beating procrastination. This immediately struck a chord with me, not just because it seemed like he could help me with my procrastination, but because he was someone, only about 2 years older than me, who was able to start a successful YouTube channel and launch a successful digital coaching product. To me, Andrew Kirby represented hope. Hope that I wasn't being a silly 19 year old, that young people my age could actually get success in the business space. So I ALSO started a procrastination business (lol). I marketted myself on Facebook and actually got my first few clients! (In my case I was providing less of a permanent solution to the problem, and more so direct accountability haha) However I soon realized the whole "coaching" space definitely wasn't for me. At this point in my life, I was feeling lost, and isolated. Then Andrew released his "Effortless Action Program", a $500 version of his procrastination program that was just a course. I immediately bought and devoured it. Although it wasn't what I was expecting, I was feeling unusually introspective and philosophical afterwards. Upon reflection, it became apparent I wasn't going after my true calling. I realized I was a filmmaker at heart, and it was time to make my inner child happy. With little money and resources, what better way to start, than to just start? I began making YouTube videos (Something I had already been doing as a kid/teenager for fun, it's really crazy It took me so long to understand where I should be working) I started a new channel, and let's just say my first few videos took some.. inspiration from Andrew's contentπŸ˜…

Youtube Is Changing
I've been seeing a shift recently in the content that is performing well on YouTube. This content is being produced by what is known as "The New Wave" of creators. Content that is story driven and is a much slower pace. The motivation doesn't come from views, subs or viewer retention. The motivation is to just create a video that is authentic. Here is a video I made explaining this change - https://youtu.be/NDCuamDIeVk?si=f9tfzwkYverRNBH6 Have you noticed this change?

Lesson From 100k Viewed Video + Looking For Work
I've done video editing for Andrew Kirby, Anna Rova and many others, including a brief job with Leon Hendrix. I did a lot of great work when editing for them, however, eventually each of them would decide to change the focus of their business, which would ultimately lead to the end of our working arrangment. I'm currently looking to work with a YouTuber/YouTube channel on a full-time basis as a - Video editor - Content/growth strategist - Channel manager - Assistant creator - Or any and all of the above! Over the next year (Starting this September) I'm looking to go ALL-IN on someone's channel and work full-time to help them skyrocket their channel and business. If you or someone you know is a YouTuber looking for help growing their channel and business please drop me a message or leave a comment on this post. Also, I've recently had a long-form video on my personal channel cross 100k views and I learnt something very interesting from it. Watch the video below for the lessons. Hope you guys find it helpful, thanks for taking the time to read/watch!
