Grow tips
@Jake Hudecek and growmies hope all is well, just needed a little insight and guidance on what to do with this plant for its next phase as I believe it’s an auto and the only one one looking like it’s ready to flower.Im not sure if I just continue my grow as normal or do a modification? Also should I tip when it grows a little bigger ? Help a growmie out as it’s my first ever run!!!

@Luis Lopez It mostly depends on what you have access to. As long as you're using a veg fert & a bloom fert, you'll be good. I'll link the one I like, it's a company in my town. https://simproformula.com/products/bloom-formula This is their flowering fertilizer, they also have a bloom booster to use in the last few weeks of flower, but this is the main one. I can list other brands, a lot of them are doing the same things so I try to find the ones doing something unique. Fox Farms, General Hydro, Advanced Nutrients, etc. are some of the big names but there's a million others. You can take your pick.

@Luis Lopez Looking good brother! I would def top those 2 in the back that are the tallest. I do have a few questions though. 1: How often do you water rn? 2: What fertilizer did you end up getting / using? 3: Roughly how far away is your light? I love to see how much they've grown since last time! I did notice some red on the stems of the older growth, but it looks like you changed something recently that they liked. The newer growth is green & looks good
Drying and curing process
Hello again bud buddies. Oh, the drying and curing process, how nervous you make me lol. I harvested my plants on the 1st, and hung them in my make shift tent. (my bathroom shower in our bedroom that we dont really use) So it's been almost 2 weeks. I have the humidifier set at 60%, and a small fan in there for air circulation thats pointed at the wall. My problem is, both plants seem REALLY dry, but when I try to do the snap test, they bend, they dont snap yet. Should I be concerned with how dry they seem, or will they get some of that moisture back during curing? Also, should I take them down and start curing them now, or still wait for the snap test to be successful? As always, any tips or tricks are appreciated! Much love.

Beautiful setup! I love it haha You did great on the drying, I would say you’re good to go to the curing stage now & see what happens. The branch snap is the easiest test we have & simple to teach, but you def don’t have to wait for it! If it’s been closer to 10 days, I would prob give it another couple days. If it’s closer to 14 days, you can prob call it good. As long as your humidity has been near 60%, you’re prob real close to where you want to be. And don’t worry too much about the outside being dry, that’s pretty normal. It’s super common to see a lot of that moisture come back once you start curing. The outside is the first to dry, and will get almost ā€œcrispyā€, but there’s usually still some moisture on the inside. If you’re worried, you can totally throw them into bags / jars now & see how they do. If it’s too dry, we can add a little humidity back. I have a feeling it’ll be almost perfect after a couple days in a curing environment though!

Cannabis Basics Class (+ update?)
Hi everybody. I just wanted to let you know that I'll be teaching a FREE Cannabis Basics class at EcoGro this Saturday (March 14th)! Most of you who are local probably already know that, but reminders never hurt. You can click this link for more info: https://www.skool.com/green-valley-growhouse-6626/calendar?eid=f6e945f7df1147aa9531ec5f32046f75 For my out of town folks . . . I'm gonna do my very best to get this one recorded (and possibly live-streamed if there's any interest in that?), and posted here! This is the perfect class if you're a totally new grower, or someone who has always wanted to grow some plants but got intimidated by the process of it. I'm putting a lot of effort into making sure this is beginner-friendly and gives people the confidence to finally take the plunge into the world of growing cannabis. I promise it's not as hard as the internet makes it seem! I know most of you are here from previous classes, or have already started growing, but if you happen to have any friends or family who you think might be interested, please let them know, or bring them with you! I'll be giving out freebies during the class, and we always have coupons for items in the store (and free cookies) as a thank you for coming out. I look forward to seeing your beautiful faces there! Much love, - Jake 🌱 ------------------------ P.S. - I've been slacking on the Skool posts! I promise I'll have a grow log update coming after my class this weekend, and I'm going to be implementing a strict schedule again for general posts & updates. My personal life has been getting in the way but this community is a big priority for me. Please feel free to keep asking me questions and making posts! I will do everything I can to continue getting back to you guys within 24 hours on here, and I have more cool stuff coming in the future. Thank you for bearing with me! I can see my vision for the Skool slowly coming together but I have a ridiculous amount of work to do still, and a lot of things I want to add.

Cannabis Basics Class (+ update?)
Uh oh
These are sprouting strange. This is my 2nd year growing. They were started in water and peroxide solution then put in little greenhouses with grow lights. Substrate is coco choir and pearl lite. Once they sprout I add a little fertilizer but these are only 3 days old. What did I do wrong?

Oh no! Give it another couple days to see if it recovers but it looks like ā€œdamping offā€ to me, which is a super common fungal disease. If it starts turning mushy at the soil line it’s prob a goner unfortunately. It’s often from things being too cold, too wet, and for too long, but sometimes it’s just bad luck. Don’t feel too bad though! It sounds like you did things correctly. Good airflow helps, and maybe a little warmth. I’ll move my lights a little closer or add a heat mat if I have one available. I also like microbe products or worm castings in my seedling mix, but none of that is actually necessary. Your setup is probably fine, especially if it’s only the 1 seedling. but I’d restart with fresh soil if you notice that one dies off. Keep me posted! Sometimes it’s just a weak seedling start but if I had to bet, I’d say damping off.

@Mary Sanchez That’s great! It doesn’t matter how long you’ve grown plants there’s always something to learn. That’s one of my favorite parts. Keep me posted as you go! 🌱
Welcome to my Skool !!
Thanks for joining! I'll be using this Skool community to provide tons of free education, resources, and support for as many people as I can. That being said, it is a work in progress. So feel free to reach out anytime with questions, suggestions, or any feedback. The goal is to have the "Classroom" as an all-inclusive resource to refer back to whenever you have questions in your grow, and I'll be slowly building it out over time. If you have something you want answered, reach out to me directly and I'll get you taken care of (and fast track the information being provided in the Classroom section). At the same time, this is also a great way to connect local growers & like-minded individuals. You'd be surprised how many people are doing awesome things in your own town. Please use it as a space to share ideas, connect with others, and learn! Quick intro poll . . . What's your experience level growing?

@Honey Desiree That’s how most people start! You were closer to doing things correctly than you might think haha. You basically just needed more light & a bigger pot + some food for it down the line, and you would be looking pretty good! If you decide you want to try again we’ll make sure you’re more successful this time haha. It doesn’t have to be super difficult, anyone can do it! Would you be interested in a guided ā€œgrow alongā€? I’m thinking of putting together a class both in person & online, where everyone starts seeds at the same time and we do a live walkthrough from seed to harvest as a community. Glad to have ya here regardless! Thanks for sharing 🌱
