Knitmas Preview - Cat Pillow
Here is a preview of one of next week's projects. Not sure what day is coming out because it us going to take a long time to edit this one. Have you ever had a project that you said, "Thank God, this is done!" Well, this was one of those projects. Everything that could go wrong did, but I finally got it done. What do you think?

wow nice
Christmas hat
I thought I would try some sparkly tinsel yarn that I got yesterday… it goes through the Addi really good. The Sentro doesn’t like the red though.

It looks great. Would you believe I bought some wool before I started here and it is 100% unknown fibers and it wont work in the 24 Sentro but it works somewhat in the 48 Sentro

Sunday check in
I took some pictures today of projects that I am working on. I am working only on commissions at the moment and they are all hand knits. The first photo is of a baby neck warmer I am making for a friend’s granddaughter. I love the yarn but I have no idea what it is. It was given to me without most of the label except it was a 200gram ball. It is done in a knit 1, slip 1 double knit pattern which creates a lovely thick fabric similar to the tubes from the CKM. I was going to do this project on the CKM but this yarn is too thick. The second photo is of a pair of leg warmers I am knitting for a friend’s daughter. I’m using Patons Decor as the main colour and I will knit some eyelash yarn in at the top and ankle. For this project I am using dpns or double pointed needles. I LOVE knitting with dpns. I treated myself with a complete set last year and this is the first time I get to use them. I love the feel of them so far. The third photo is of a chemo cap that I am hand knitting a friend of a friend who has just started chemo treatments. The yarn is one of my favourites to work with, Caron Blossom Cakes. The machines love it and it’s great for hand knitting. It’s a#4 weight cotton and acrylic blend. For hand knitting, the recommended needle size is 5 mm but I am using a size 3.75 mm to get gauge. I tend to knit loose on larger needles. I am very pleased with the tension of this piece. There is a lot of healing intention being knit into this cap. Have a great day wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
