🎮 Not enough gamification?
[ROAST MY IDEA] or [GIVE ME MORE SUGESTIONS] I just had an idea for gamificating this community's leaderboard, because that's not something I've been doing before. All of that will happen on top of the 3 ongoing competitions we already have. The way you gamify the leaderboards is by unlocking classroom content. So I'll be remaking the classroom in order to acommodate that new format. But here is the twist, instead of unlocking content, you unlock promotional and networking oppotunities, because that's the main thing here. The content will be avaiable to every member as I believe information is already easily avaiable, but genuine networking is what makes we stick to a group. Level 1: You unlock "The Roast Book" (more about it later) and Roasty High Skool (it will be locked to level 1 again), and I'll introduce you at the playground tagging someone you should meet Level 2: Welcome to the grill! I'll introduce you to the whole community in a separate weekly post if you just leveled up! Level 3: You get featured at the Cafeteria. This is a place where I'll promote everyone by niche. It was taking me too much work to keep it updated, but now I'll retroactivelly add everyone on the list, but only members that are level 3 and above. Level 4: The Nerd Board: get feautred in nerdy posts similar to this one. Level 5: Matchmaking Events: I'll regularly start conversation tagging members that are level 5 and above at the cafeteria or in separate posts. I'll keep closer attention to those members and what they are doing. Level 6: You get featured in The Roast Book. What is the Roast Book? It's a book compiling all of the wisdom given by our most active roasters from beggining to end, with the help of AI agents and linking the original comment. Each level 6 member and above will have their own chapter on the book and of course a section at the beggining promoting their work. We currently have 7 members that can be featured.

Bro that looks amazing!!
Do you have a milestone you want to achieve?
I do have some. Both on income and membership count. For membership count I want to get to 1000. We just crossed 250 members and are a quarter of the way there. I know that in many cases quality is much more important than quantity and group loose quality when they grow too big. But I don't think this is the case here, because the purpose of Roast & Promote is largely to give exposure to our members, that's why it's a public group. The more we grow the more feedback you can get and the more eyes you get at your promotional posts that you earn competing. That's I also award members who invite others, as you can . Click here to learn more about our competitions and how you can grow by being active and inviting members. What about you? What milestone are you trying to achieve?

Roast my Idea for scaling this community
If you're community owner, you might have checked the post I wrote on skoolers today about why I won't automate my DMs. Basically, this community is all about real human communication. Real conversations since the onboarding, real feedback, real people's opinions on market research, exchanging real stories between real entrepeneurs instead of just consuming sensationalist content... And the work I do for the standard tier, the one I do for free, already takes me a lot of time. To the point that it gets harder and harder to manage this community as it grows. Welcoming people in a human way without automation, is a lot less work than roasting every comment, tagging relevant people, counting the scores and making ads for the champions. So here is how I intend to evolve this community in a way that is manageable and will keep the quality human factor of it over time. Nothing will change now, but eventually: - I'll only personally roast premium and VIP members. Standard members will still have me tagging people on their posts, pinning them till they get enough attention and counting the roaster of the week scores that everyone can compete for. This might be the first change I make here, but not yet. - If it gets to the point that I'm growing too fast, this community will get paid for entry. This will slow down new members and at the same time select people who are more serious about our purpose here and are more commited to helping others and getting serious feedback. And if even than it gets too hard, I'll hire a VA or moderator to help me out. - I'm working on a second community. That one will be paid for entry from the start but current premium and VIP members will get a free invite for it as a bonus. The purpose of this second community is to actually help people manage their time and focus on more strategic ways and will have great synergy with Roast & Promote.
