How do you find underrated books?
I hear Andrew Kirby often speak about reading good, unpopular books because it will give you more unique knowledge. I'm sold on the idea, but don't exactly know where to find these books. Do I just search "underrated books" on Google? Lol. Also, what are some of these books you guys would recommend. Thanks for your time, cheers!

I think the right way to approach it is not by searching for underrated books, rather reading what you want to read and not what you should read.
From Agency to High Ticket Consulting?
Anyone has an insight about consulting and high ticket clients? Been pondering lately about switching up how I offer my services, I've started with the agency "format" but it is a hassle to produce quality work for each and every client. But having 2-3 clients where I can over deliver value to, is my type of jam.

@Garrett Miller has a post about this
The blurry line between Authentic Value vs Low Effort video
I had a hypothesis about content that turns out was false. So lately I became a little bit busier with business, putting content at the side but I started to see a weird pattern in the business youtube space, lot of successful guys just create raw, unedited, authentic videos that get much more views than their overedited content. I saw this trend with authentic content/authentic editing, and also I just had little time for content creation. So I had this idea: What if I double down on value, only use bullet points instead of scripting, no editing, and just use simple thumbnails. It sounded good on paper: "people are not here for fancy editing or thumbnails they are here for value and authenticity" I started to post video after video, but somehow it just doesnt resonated with the audience the videos didnt got too many views and they kinda flopped if this would have been my first video I would just say I should keep going but because I had evidence that I'm able to get views (for context the video before it got 1k+ views) I realised that the problem is with the content. And I overlooked a huge thing: CONTEXT & EFFORT so after trying to understand why my videos flopped and other channels got 100k+ views I came to 2 realisation: 1. Sam Ovens, Charlie Morgan, Andrew Kirby has the authority that justifies a 1 hour long uncut video. if I sit down in front of the camera and talk for one hour, the audience asks: Why should I spend my time listening to this guy? He didn't even take the effort to edit this video.... If Sam Ovens or any other established authority sits down in front of the camera for an hour, people think: Oh it's so cool I can listen to a multi millionare's ideas, it feels like as I would be in the same room as him, he is sharing soo much value in this video! I think who you are matters just as much as what you say and you have to consistently show up and associate your name and reputation with quality and value and than you will build out trust with your audience

@Rylee D yes totally, you can only grow and create great content if you constantly push the boundaries of what you can do

@Jan Blok started working as an editor, traveling, was helping others with their content and than had a lead gen business in the last 8 months, main lesson was that I shouldnt stop creating content, currently Im actually getting back into it, just recorded my first high effort video yesterday after a long break, so yeah getting back to it
I have been recording videos daily for over a year
And I haven´t seen any success. I know that I have to keep going and get better. It´s a long road. I want to get some feedback to know what I could do better. I have been working on my storytelling, authenticity, charisma, and influence a lot because I hate editing and to be honest I only consume real, raw unedited videos that just give a lot of value, so that is what I'm doing as well. I was wondering what I could improve in my videos. My channel is @cautiousmarlon on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/@cautious.marlon/videos AND... Should I play the YouTube game and start to edit my videos? I can get the message to more people cause most people need the stimulation and dopamine but as I said before, I hate editing (no I can't outsource it right now because I don't have money...) and my videos would take longer to produce and loose some of its authenticity...

Hey @Marlon Engelmann just checked out your channel first thing that came to my mind is the fact that you upload too often so you dont have enough time to put into videos, youtube is a game of infinite leverage "a video that is 10% better can have 10x the views" if I would be you I would just try to make 1 great video a week. I made this post about it which covers it pretty well: https://www.skool.com/synthesizers/the-blurry-line-between-authentic-value-vs-low-effort-video The second thing is personal monopoly for me it seems there is a lot of different videos about lot of different topics on your channel, if I would have to guess you are making a mix of videos that interests you and also content that you think the audience will find valuable, yeah sure "you are your niche" but I would still decide on a direction I would want to go and also find a way to differentiate myself from the competition, your content is pretty similar to other self improvement type of channels so you have to find a unique edge that would enable you to stand out and be different. Hope this helps, best of luck with yt
it's going better !
Good Views. Not sure what is happening there but I am starting to get some Traction! Maybe I should share my Story more :) it seems to be working Give me Honest Feedback Please
