Fun Exercise for everyone!
Your Mission: Show us your life as it is TODAY! Use this ChatGPT prompt to create your "Life Portrait": (**Attach a current picture of yourself and use this prompt**) "Please create a portrait image of me based on all the information you already have about me. So a kind of vision board, or rather a live board. Include everything you've already noticed from our conversation so far in this image. Create this image in the cartoon Pixar style." @Rich Gomez shared this in his group and I thought it was so fun to do and learn from each other and seeing everyone’s photos. Let's see an insight to everyone's lives, goals, and things that matter to us in this super fun exercise. Drop your photos below and tell us: What's one thing about your current life that you absolutely LOVE? šŸ’• Here is mine!

Second Week of The Year
New year energy is great. New notebooks, new plans, new intentions. But for writers, the real question isn’t what you want to write it’s what you’re committed to finishing. This year I’m less interested in big goals and more interested in: - Fewer projects - Clearer scope - Actual publish dates (even imperfect ones) Progress beats perfection. Every time. So I’m curious, what’s one concrete goal you want to see completed this year? Not a dream. Not a someday. A real finish line.

@Terrance Gee Yes! Exactly!
Publishing Gets Easier When You Stop Doing It Alone
I’m in the middle of writing a book right now, and instead of disappearing for months, I decided to do it out loud where people can follow along. Not as a launch. Not as a promotion. Just as a live, follow-along process. What surprised me is how much faster people move when they’re not trying to figure out every step by themselves. When the writing, formatting, and publishing steps are happening in real time, the fear drops. The guessing drops. The ā€œI’ll do it laterā€ excuse disappears. People don’t stall because eBook publishing is hard. They stall because it feels isolating and unclear. Doing it alongside others changes the energy completely. Have you ever finished something faster just because you weren’t doing it solo?

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t starting, it’s believing your small step today matters for tomorrow.
I’ve seen it happen: someone shares a tiny idea, a spark, a draft… and months later, it becomes a full story, a movement, a new opportunity they never imagined. The secret isn’t in doing something huge it’s in consistently showing up, learning from each mistake, and letting the process surprise you. The people who change their lives don’t wait for perfect timing they experiment, they test, they let curiosity lead. What’s the smallest step you can take today that your future self will thank you for? Drop it below I want to see what sparks are already in your hands.

Love this. Big breakthroughs always start with something embarrassingly small. For me, it’s one page in the authority book I’m writing, just enough to keep momentum alive. Tiny action beats perfect timing every time.

Reedsy and Atticus make it super easy. You can even use Canva for more customization, but it is a bit more work.
