@Mo Awkati people historically have recommended using 250 or 300k pots with that combo in LP type guitars. I don't subscribe to that. I would use normal 500k's and just roll off the tone and volume to 8 or 9 if it pokes a little, that way you still have the brightness for certain other tones you may want when necessery.

Wrote an interesting solo just now.
My band rarely plays music with this type of chord progression, and I felt inspired.

Cordless pedal board
Running an M18 (20volt) Milwaukee battery through a stepdown converter. I usually use it for practice, but last week I used it to test individual PA's while 20ft up on a scissor lift.

Selling some gear due to unforseen circumstances.
- 2023 PRS Custom 24-08, abnormally good even for a core. Roughly 2 hours of play time on polished frets and strings. $2800 - 2015 PRS SE Exotic Custom 24, nicer than an S2 for 1/2 the price. The dressed/polished frets and strings have about 20 minutes of play time. $800 - Taylor GS Mini, dressed frets and lowered action $500 - Peavey JSX 120 watt head with extra tubes for different gain flavors. $800 - 2002 Marshall 1960 slant cab with 8 ohm 150 watt Eminence Texas Heats $800 - Vox Night Train V2 $300 - Brand New Mesa Filmore 1x12 cab $300 Victoria, TX
