Welp, it's been a while because I have been frustrated last few weeks, but it appears I'm just old, NOT SUPERMAN🤣😩 It has been a long damn 2.5 months. 1+ month of super fast recovery and strength came right back. For the last 3 weeks I have had a ton of swelling in the knee. Follow-up today and the surgeon did all her tests and says, "Yup, I don't like all that fluid, we'll drain it". Oh, how long until we do that? She says, "15 minutes". WTF?? Can you give a brother some warning you are going to shove a 2" 18 gauge needle in my damn knee? "I did, you got 15 minutes". LOL!! 95 cc's of Mt. Dew later, it feels super weird. No more pressure holding everything right, but now my MCL can finally start tightening. When I asked why she said because she removed a bunch of arthritis and I will eventually need a knee replacement. 3-4 days of babying it, then 1.5 weeks of praying, while doing PT, that it won't fill back up. Back to work, finally, on 1/5/2026!! Fingers crossed!!
