This was very clear and it's helpful to see how it works behind the scenes. Thank you.
SIGILS ~ WHERE DID THEY BEGIN?
What exactly is a sigil? Curious? Join our Sigil workshop event ~ numbers are limited so I can give each of you individual attention for your magickal intentions! When: 24th October 2026 Time: 1pm AEDT Duration 2-2.5 hours Join us here - https://www.skool.com/rich-witch-magick-8333/classroom Note - This is my hand drawn sigil put into chatgpt to create an image for sharing. The word sigil has a long history, broadly referring to a sign, seal or symbolic mark. Magical symbols and seals have been used across many different magickal and religious traditions for centuries, often representing names, beings, intentions, powers or unseen forces. So there isn't one person who “invented” sigils. However, there is one name worth knowing if we're talking about the modern practice of creating personal sigils: Austin Osman Spare. An English artist and occultist working in the early 20th century, Spare developed his own approach to transforming words, desires and intentions into personal symbolic forms. His work brought together art, symbolism, intention and the subconscious in a way that was quite different from simply using established magickal symbols. And this is where things get really interesting... Because the idea of creating a symbol from your own intention became an important influence on our modern sigil practice. Rather than simply reaching for a symbol from a book and saying: “This means protection.” You begin with your own words. Your own desire. Your own intention. And you transform that into something uniquely yours. A symbol that carries meaning because you gave it meaning. And that's exactly where we're heading next... How do you actually turn an intention into a sigil? This is where the real magick and creation begins. And no, you don't need to be able to draw. I show you 4 different methods for creating Sigils. I will guide you every step of the way to create your unique sigil and believe me they can easily become a daily practice for their are a myriad of ways in which to draw or create them...

YOU Get To Choose What We Talk About!
Our next get-together is: 🇺🇸 New York — Tuesday 13 October at 8pm 🇳🇿 New Zealand — Wednesday 14 October at 1pm Last time we got into the very interesting subject of moving people from Standard to Premium and VIP. This time, I thought I’d hand the conversation over to you. What would you most like us to get our teeth into? ☕ Getting more people to actually SHOW UP to your events Lots of interest is lovely. Bums on seats are better. 📣 How to promote your event without sounding like a broken sales record What can you actually post and say in the run-up to an event? 💰 Turning event attendees into members or clients They came. They loved it. Now what? 🤝 Finding the right people to collaborate with Who could help you reach more people, create something better or open a door you hadn’t thought of? Vote below 👇 Whichever one wins, that’s where we’ll start. And knowing us, goodness knows where the conversation will end up. 😂☕

@Andrew Brooks You would be shocked at the books that have been banned or challenged.

@Andrew Brooks lol. You asked but I'll limit my response because this is a hill I'm willing to die on I'm a librarian though, so I have opinions. Book bans and censorship are about control. Plain and simple. The people who want to ban books want to do it because they want to control who has access to what information. They do this under the guise of "protecting the children". I have no problem with protecting children, but information does not cause harm. Is some information inappropriate at certain ages? Absolutely. But a book ban isn't about that. Because these people aren't trying to simply reclassify books. They want them removed. Period. Removing books or restricting access because you don't want to read it or don't want your children reading it is censorship. Just don't read it or don't let your child read it. But don't say what another person or someone else's children can read.
Would you like a little help finding the RIGHT people to collaborate with? 🤔
Des and I have been talking about something we’re both actually rather good at, connecting people. And that has come about due to knowing A LOT of people here on skool and being well connected ourselves. We often spot opportunities between people and think, “You two really need to talk!” 😂 So we’re wondering whether we could turn this into a service within Collaboration Station. The idea would be that we get to know what you’re looking for and what you can offer, then help match you with people who could be a genuinely good fit. That could be someone to: ✨ Run an event with ✨ Join you on a panel or discussion ✨ Speak or guest in your community ✨ Cross-promote with ✨ Help you reach new audiences, members or potential clients ✨ Or simply create a collaboration neither of you had thought of yet Rather than Des and I disappearing off and creating something because we think it’s a brilliant idea 😂, we want to know whether you would actually find it useful. POLL: Would you use a collaboration matchmaking service?
