I will do my best to come hang out. That is right in the middle of peak craziness at our house, so no promises :S
Welcome TO PSA (Parents of Student Athletes) SKOOLroom
Excited to start this community here for parents of young student athletes who are embracing the grind (both parents and kids) lol. We are here to share our stories and advice and, as your moderator, I want to be a resource for you as my two kids both went through the meat grinder known as the NCAA Division 1 recruiting process. One just finished at University of Arizona and the ohter was at Lindenwood U in MO. The first time you comment please introduce yourself, where youre from and your childrens sport / age / aspirations. This is a safe space for parents to share, and vent, but all comments must be positive and supportive. Debate is healthy but direct negativity is unacceptable. We are here to help each other not COMPETE Cheers and Welcome to the PSA Skool Room

Hey I'm Brandon. Neuro Coach and educator from Evolved Athlete. I have triplets that are all aspiring to walk (and climb) on everything they see. They are about 15 months at the moment, so we have some time, but I am thrilled that this community exists for them (and us) as we navigate the sports world of their youth and beyond. I played NAIA football at Carroll College in Helena, MT where I was voted Captain, made All-Amercian, played in 3 National Championships (won 2), and even made the cover of Sports Illustrated (wahoo!). So, until my littles start their athletic journey, I'll be here with support and hopefully some valuable experience from my time, and from my knowledge of the pain relief and performance side of things. Thanks, @Quinn Magnuson for putting this together.
My background and experience with being a PSA
I was a D1 scholarship athlete at WSU for football and track, went on to play CFL for 5 years and now father to a D1 Football player and a daughter who competed in D2 Track (Lindenwood MO). I have gone through the "recruiting wringer" and seen it from all angles. I also have coached 2 sports (football, track) at the University Level. My goal with this community is to help others who are going through it and draw experience and stories from those who have already gone through it so we can help each other

We played Lindenwood a couple times when I was at Carroll, one of my fav all-time games in the semifinals in '08. You've got some serious experience a ton of parents are going to really value (myself included), thanks for putting this together, Quinn!
