Social Media
If youโ€™re not good at networking your self how do you go about it? I know there a social media course on here but I havenโ€™t gotten that far. I was wondering how do most people network themselves???

Showing up to shows, helping out and talking to everyone there. Asking them if they have any other bookings that weekend or coming up and showing up there to help out as well. Itโ€™s a compounded effect that has helped me out. Introduce yourself to the promoters and get their facebook. Add them and message them as well
*Studying*
Curious about who/what everyone here goes to when it comes to studying for pro wrestling? Are you studying the aspects of the profession itself? Or other arts outside to introduce into the wrestling scene?

For example, I love to study comedians, my favorites being Dave Chappelle, Richard Pryor and Joey Diaz. Why? Because they do on stage what we do in the ring. Story Telling. When they deliver punch lines we deliver high spots. Comedy and pro wrestling both mirror current culture and itโ€™s a great time stamp in history. So when it comes to my promos or even my match structure I have taken inspiration from the comedy world.

Social Media Use & Engagement Challenge
Weโ€™ve all heard how important social media is in professional wrestling. And Iโ€™ve had a lot of you ask: โ€œHow do I actually get better at it?โ€ Hereโ€™s a challenge that will do exactly that. Social media runs on engagement. The more engagement a post gets, the longer it lives. The moment you post something, it starts to die. Think of it like something floating in water. If nobody interacts with it, it sinks. Every like, comment, or share gives it life. It keeps it afloat a little longer. The longer it stays afloat, the more people see it. The more people see it, the more chances it has to grow. Not every post is going to blow up. Thatโ€™s not the point. But you can help it. Every time someone comments on your post, reply to them. Keep the conversation going. Every interaction matters. Now hereโ€™s the challenge: Every single time your school, your home promotion, or a place that books you posts something: You engage with it. All three if possible: โ€ข Like / React โ€ข Comment / Reply โ€ข Share / Retweet This does two things: 1. It helps that company get more visibility 2. It puts your name directly next to theirs Now people start seeing you. Promoters start seeing your effort. Your value goes up. Make this a daily habit. Donโ€™t just scroll and hope you catch something. Go directly to those pages on purpose and engage. If you have a home promotion, you should want it to win. More eyes = more ticket sales More merch More streams More opportunities for everyone involved Including you. You can contribute more than you realize. And like everything else in pro wrestlingโ€ฆ Repetition builds habit. Do this long enough, and it becomes second nature. And now youโ€™ve built a skill that travels with you everywhere you go. More bookings. More visibility. More opportunity. "If they donโ€™t know, they canโ€™t go." Whatโ€™s one promotion or page you KNOW you should be engaging with more consistently? ๐Ÿ“Š Poll Question: How intentional are you with your social media engagement?

Iโ€™ve found engagement to be a huge factor. Iโ€™ve even gotten followers and then likes on my own page by commenting on other posts from wrestling fans to just strangers on the internet
