Still waiting for Spotify pay out...
I want to have an idea of how this quarter went and these f¨ck3rs are not paying out It's been days that I've been waiting to know how much (actually little) we made on our Spotify channel. But they still haven't paid out. Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing this?

You’re welcome… that’ll be $52. 😂💸
After all that waiting for the DistroKid payment… $52 finally landed. 😭💸 Months of checking, refreshing, stressing, reading Reddit, wondering if the money even existed… DistroKid really said: “You’re welcome.” 😂 Big payday, boys. Retirement starts tomorrow. 🤑

Winding Down Listening To This
I’m sitting down tonight, winding my brain down before bed, reading and listening to this podcast at the same time, and I was surprised to see Rick Rubin pop up on The Diary of a CEO. I loved the story in the intro about Jay-Z sitting there listening to a beat, basically mumbling and rhyming in his head, then stepping up, recording it two or three times, picking the best take, and boom, there’s the song. You know what that tells me? He has his process down. And I love that because it reminded me so much of the way I (and a lot of you) like to create music now. Sometimes I’ll literally start by humming a melody or rhyme, type it into ChatGPT — or just record it directly — and build an entire song from that one little idea. Then I’ll listen to the beat over and over, mumbling, singing, and rewriting parts in my head until the song feels right. That’s honestly one of my favorite parts of making music. Growing up in the ’90s, when everybody wanted to freestyle and rap, that part of the creative process is just fun to me. I’m only at the beginning of this interview, but it’s pretty damn cool hearing how similar parts of Jay-Z’s creative process are to the way we naturally like to work with AI music today. Different tools. Same creative instinct.

I would never call Rick Ruben a producer. He's at best, like an artist's facilitator. I have been a music producer for 45+ years. I play multiple instruments and I know how to work a studio inside out. This is why I get very frustrated with the AI nay sayers. They call people working with AI "phonies", but they never say ONE thing about the Estefans, the Timbalands, etc etc. These ppl don't play nothing, they know nothing of music. But they DO know how to hire desperate musicians as producers with these draconian contracts (I was offered one by none other that mr Emilio Estefan, which I rejected given the obscene level of draconian) so they can develop every melody they humm, so tthen, they can take ALL creative credit AND collect ALL the royalties (remember, the slave producers work on salary, under a contract and are ALL work for hire). Well, now, with SUNO, I have my own personal producer, who is well versed in every style, can make lyrics on the spot, doesn't have an ego and has ALL the patience in the world for only $20, if I want to pay the basics. As a producer, I think my craft will only get better with this tech.
Unlimited Downloading in Suno
Here’s a new video of me going through the updated workflow using the same tools, along with the new Suno updates. So far, I don’t think we’re going to have any major issues. It looks like we can still get pretty much unlimited downloads without much trouble. Check out the video and let me know how the new workflow is working for you!

What about the "watermark" that they say SUNO will be adding? Is this true?
