Premium Impact Spotlight: Engineer turned Entrepreneur
Shoutout to @B C who joined Premium Impact! Super fun background, live long corporate engineer who was helping his brother who is a Landman (oil and gas industry, lots of excel files, old library maps, and all done by hand). He engineered this amazing tool that automates this and is able to share thousands and thousands of records with other Landmen. Now he's a Founder of this cool tool! He joined Premium Impact so I can help with his positioning, branding, sales messaging, and more. First client is getting onboarded as we speak. I love seeing all this come together so seamlessly! Your Marketing Doesn't Need More. It Needs Less.
99% of coaches, consultants, and service professionals are working way too hard on their marketing. They're posting on all the channels everywhere. And are selling all the things. And still… crickets. The worst feeling in business: "I'm doing all the things everyone told me to do. Why am I still not getting clients?" After 25 years in marketing, including roles at Ogilvy, Transamerica, and Techstars (where I'm currently VP of Marketing while building this), here's what I'd do instead: - Stop selling a bunch of different things all at once - Pick ONE channel that fits how your ideal client actually buys, and go deep before adding anything else - Run your whole business through the Client IMPACT System (Identify, Market, Pull, Acquire, Captivate, Track). Check out the free course in the Classroom and find your lowest-scoring letter, and fix that bottleneck for 30 days before touching anything else. After working with hundreds of clients, the pattern is clear: the ones who break through aren't doing more. They killed 80% of what they were doing and went all in on the few things that actually move the needle. Bring in the focus. Watch what happens.
