They're looking for someone with strong experience in threat detection, incident response, security monitoring, and cyber operations. This person will work closely with the lead cybersecurity specialist and play a key role in identifying, investigating, and responding to security threats across the organization's environment. The team is seeking someone who can independently assess security events, determine business impact, drive response activities, and help improve overall detection capabilities. Experience with threat hunting, alert triage, threat intelligence, incident investigations, and security operations is highly desired. Technical experience with tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, QRadar, Mimecast, Purview, or similar SIEM/EDR platforms would be a strong plus. They're also interested in candidates who have worked on detection tuning, reducing false positives, developing use cases, and improving monitoring coverage. Additional experience with MITRE ATT&CK, threat intelligence, endpoint security, email security, DLP, Azure security, PowerShell, or Python is helpful.
