I did my quarterly download of my LInkedIn data, I normally do this for the usual suspects - contacts, post analytics etc. (inspired by @Joe Apfelbaum 's post review). This time I carefully looked at all the available data and saw that there is one called "Inferences_about_you" Wow what a revelation! Who LinkedIn thinks I am is not correct - I'm working on changing not only my profile but also some other items under the hood like my industry (this is especially important if you are doing something different than you did before) to indicate to LI who I actually am and who I want to attract - hoping this is going to influence who is shown my content and who LinkedIn suggests for me. YMMV
