What am I doing wrong?
I have the small Addi machine to make iCords on. I'm totally stumped with what is going here. Why is the cord so lumpy? What am I doing wrong? This is the about 5th time I've attempted the cord. Does any one have any advice. Thanks in advance.

I didn't have weights. I'll try again later with weights. It has put me trying again

I was thinking of using some old wool I have for a place matt, thinking like a jelly roll idea, but I don't think the tube would be solid enough to go through the sewing machine on a zigzag.
💛 Community Update: Welcoming Our New Admin Team 💛
As our community continues to grow, it’s important to me that we protect what makes this space special — supportive, safe, and focused on Circular Machine Knitting. Because of that, I’m excited to officially welcome four new admins to our team: ✨ @Julie Findleton ✨ @Paul Brown ✨ @Suzane Mesheau ✨ @Ruby Dack They’ve generously stepped in to help support the community in some very important ways, including: • Keeping the community safe by removing scammers, spammers, and anyone here with the wrong intentions • Hosting Crafting Hours • Answering questions and offering support • Helping new members feel welcomed and encouraged This step allows me to stay focused on creating patterns, courses, challenges, and content — while knowing the heart of this community is being well cared for. 💬 A quick note from my heart: If you’re reading this and wondering, “What about me?” — please know this is not a closed circle. As we continue to grow, I fully expect to expand the team again. There are so many incredible members here, and there will be future opportunities to step into leadership and support roles. Thank you for being part of a community that looks out for one another and helps keep this a place where knitters can learn, grow, and feel at home. With gratitude, Kim 💛🧶

Congratulations and it's exciting times
Faux Fur yarn
I've had this yarn for years and I've done nothing with it. I didn't think it works for through me Addi machine as it nearly killed the Sentro I had. I saw a lady using this yarn on FB, so decided to give it a go. She suggested 90 rows for as beanie. I got 86 rows out of two balls of yarn. I've got to finish the ends, but I'm very excited!!

@Julie Findleton I was only trying it as I saw a lady on FB with an Addi and faux fur. It did nearly kill my Sentro and bit it worked well on the Addi. Really chuffed I did try.

@Sharon Dora the Sentro is brilliant. I killed mine as I used a drill attachment and basically turned it to dust!!
LAMXD Yarn ball winder
I'm excited as I have just received my yarn ball winder today. I've been pondering for ages in getting one and finally I gave in. She was a bargain at £12 brand new on eBay from £48 on Amazon. It goes to show you can still get a bargain if you look around. I'm a very happy woman. She works a treat and is easy to set up. So thank you @Paul Brown for your advice . 👍🏻😊.

Oh have your seen how purple use a cardboard inner from a toilet roll with the winder? They put the yarn in place to start and then put the toilet inner over that and then wind as normal. It gives the yarn ball structure. I've not tried it yet, but I'll keep you posted.
