A Change of plans for the MYAL Virtual Fashion Show
Hello my lovely MYAL knitters 🧶 I need to share a change of plan with you, and I want to be honest about why. It has been a difficult few days for me and I have been quite affected. Those of you who follow me on Instagram will very likely now what I am referring to. Right now, I am not in the right place to host a live celebration the way I planned. And I do not want that to take away from what this event was meant to be: a celebration of YOU and all the work you have done. For many of you, this was your first all-over colourwork sweater, your first steek, your first time trying something out of your comfort zone. And that deserves to be celebrated properly, not under a dark cloud. So here is what I would love you to do instead. Please reply to this thread with: ❤️ your favourite photo of your Rujuu Sweater, whether it is a WIP or FO. ✨ 3 words that describe your Rujuu knitting experience 🤔 One thing that surprised you (a challenge or a win) 💡 One thing you would do differently next time We will celebrate together here, on Skool, and I promise I will be cheering for each and every one of you. Thank you for your patience with me this week. I am so proud of what you have all made. 🤍

First of all, I have no idea what its about as i dont follow any knitting socials But i wish you all the strength ❤️. You are a kind person and a very good knitwear designer and i absolutely adore knitting your patterns and their fit and how elaborate they are. My 3 words are: community, engaging, stashbusting. The thing that surprised me most was how easy the steek was. It was my first and im not scared of it anymore which is a huge win and allows me to pick more patterns that i would love to knit. To be honest i wouldnt do anything different this whole experience was amazing for me ❤️

@Loronda Schuler it was so much less stressfull than i thought. I was so nervous about it but once i felt confident checked a couple of times. The cut itself wasnt so bad at all 😅
Help- pattern ailis
@Liene Kalniņa @Dani Stassen I finally could start the colorwork, but now I am a bit confused... after row 1 of it, do I start from st1 at row two, or do I continue i.e. start from st 25 (as size 3 started)?

@Noor Van Putte your first row you start the count at row 25 for size 3 and you continue starting at row 25 for the entire pattern. I dont know why Zanete does it like this probably to have some elements show up in a certain part of the bodice and keep it the same over all sizes. And maybe the fake seam provides a form of stability idk. You end on row 7 i believe in each half of the body do the purl and then start on row 25 again for the second half so you get a seam. You ofc especially in the sweater do not need to do that and could find away to maybe make it fit the round but i did this with the rujuu and it worked out so it was a similar instruction was very confused then as well because im used to a different way of using colorwork the fake seam threw me off then. Hope that helps ;)

The Final Clue 7 is Out! The Mystery is Over 🥹
First, I want to apologise for the sleeves landing all in one week. Two sleeves in a single clue was a lot to ask, I know. At the same time, for many of you that was the final clue, so I hope there was no real pressure attached to it. From here on, there is no pressure at all. I just hope you will all complete your sweaters and wear them proudly. 🤩 And if you are doing the cardigan option and still working on the sleeves, I'm sure you will appreciate a chance to take a little break to go through the steeking experience! So exciting to see the cardigans opening soon! 🫣 New tutorials for this clue are waiting for you in the Rujuu course under the Classroom tab. If you already have the pattern, check your inbox for the update notification or refresh your Ravelry library to download the Final file. Or if you’re just seeing this for the first time, you can get the complete pattern here. And a reminder: the Virtual Fashion Show is on April 19th at 8pm London time, on Zoom and streamed on YouTube. Finished or not, everyone who participated in the knit along is welcome. More details coming soon. I've added the Clue 6 collages here, the finished sweaters are just so beautiful. Seeing them all side by side is so rewarding and inspiring! THANK YOU!!! ❤️ And because I'm so sad the mystery is over 😭, I'd love to hear from you about your future plans in this regard:

thank you all
Clue 6 is here, and it's all about the sleeves.
Before we get into it, I want to take a moment to appreciate what's been happening in this community. Over 450 projects shared, and more than 100 finished Clue 5s already in my feed. That is quite unbelievable! 🫣 What I've been particularly enjoying is seeing the creative spins you're putting on this sweater. The body finishes, the hems, the rearranged chart motifs! They make each sweater its own thing and I absolutely love that! Keep sharing them.❤️ Now, if you chose the pullover option, Clue 6 is your last clue😭. But that also means, there is no rush from here, work at your own pace and enjoy the sleeves. If you chose the cardigan option, you will undoubtedly notice what's still missing and that will be coming in Clue 7, so the mystery isn't quite over for you yet.🤩 New tutorials for this clue are also waiting for you in the Rujuu course under the Classroom tab. If you already have the pattern, check your inbox for the update notification or refresh your Ravelry library to download the Clue 6 file. If you haven’t joined yet, you can get the pattern here. ❗One more thing: mark your calendars for the Virtual Fashion Show on April 19th at 8pm London, UK time. Everyone who has participated in the knit along is welcome to join us on Zoom, which will also be streamed on YouTube. Finished sweater or not, I would love to see you there. More details to follow.

Just finished one sleeve not sure ill be able to make two sleeves before friday its quite heavy on the joints having to keep turning over the entire cardigan 😅. I changed the patterning a bit and used the chart 1 pattern because i liked it a lot.
