When We Pray
Prayer is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. It’s not just a spiritual habit — it’s a lifeline. When we pray, we’re not speaking into the air; we’re speaking to God the Father, walking with Jesus, and being strengthened by the Holy Spirit. Prayer connects us to the One who knows us, sees us, and loves us without conditions. Prayer affects us because it shifts the atmosphere inside of us. Worry becomes peace. Confusion becomes clarity. Weakness becomes strength. When we bring our real thoughts, real struggles, and real hopes to God, something powerful happens — He meets us there. Not with judgment, but with presence. The value of prayer isn’t in fancy words or perfect moments. Its value is in the relationship it builds. We pray because God invites us to. We pray because Jesus modeled it. We pray because the Holy Spirit helps us when we don’t even know what to say. Prayer keeps our hearts soft, our minds steady, and our lives aligned with God’s purpose. And as we pray, our faith grows. Every answered prayer strengthens our trust. Every moment of peace reminds us He’s near. Every time we pray and feel Him carry us through, our confidence in His goodness deepens. Faith doesn’t grow by accident — it grows through connection, and prayer is that connection. REAL Women, keep praying. Pray when you’re strong and when you’re tired. Pray when you have the words and when you don’t. Pray because God hears you, Jesus intercedes for you, and the Holy Spirit empowers you. Prayer doesn’t just change situations — it changes you. Reflection: What is one area of your life you can intentionally bring to God in prayer today?

I'm bringing a new gardening project up for prayer, so that it will glorify God and bring others into community.

@Bethany Elle We rented a community garden plot this year in addition to our own raised backyard beds. We are not trained gardeners in any sense of the word, but we don't do a bad job. We are hoping to invite 3-4 others to join us and give away what we grow to our local church food bank.

Good morning! What’s your goal this week?

Goals for me include: meal prep, staying consistent with workouts, give God all of the glory, and spend precious time with my Mama, 💥
Road trip gratitude
- Open roads and the freedom to go somewhere new - Quiet conversations (or comfortable silence) along the way - The beauty of changing landscapes and unexpected views - Good music that becomes part of the memory - Safe travels—every mile covered and every arrival - Small stops: coffee, rest areas, hidden gems - Time to think, reflect, and reset - Laughter over the little things that go wrong - The people you travel with—or the peace of going solo - The reminder that the journey matters just as much as the destination 🚗✨

Reality…
On an ordinary walk, God revealed something extraordinary: Reality is Christ. Not my fears, not expectations, not the pressure to perform. Him. That moment anchored my life in His truth and reshaped how I see myself—rooted, empowered, authentic, and loved. If you’ve ever felt lost or disconnected, this reminder will bring you back to what’s real.
