Webinar Update!
Unfortunately, today's webinar is going to have to be postponed. It turns out my kids were kind enough to share their latest bug with me 😅 Rather than spend an hour trying not to cough my way through a bike fit webinar, I'm going to give myself a few extra days to recover. 🤒 📅 The webinar has been moved to Friday 24th at 4pm BST. We'll still be covering: 🚴 What Different Foot Problems Usually Mean? (premium webinar) We'll look at: - hot foot - toe numbness - arch pain - outside foot discomfort - and what these different symptoms can often tell you about how you're interacting with the bike. Thanks for your understanding! I'll be back next week with a voice that's a little less croaky and a lot more webinar-friendly 😂 See you on the 24th! 👊
Bike fitter PLI
I work 2 afternoons a week in my local bike shop offering a bike fitting service. Up until now the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy have insured my for bike fitting but tI have just read in Physio Frontline that if it involves "a stand alone bike fitting service involving mechanical adjustments and modifications would not be considered in the scope of physiotherapy" I therefore need to source alternative public liability insurance for this service. I was wondering who other bike fitters use to insure their practice. Many thanks

Hi Gill, thanks for bringing this to my attention! I'm going to look into this, but sounds like a but more clarification from the CSP would be needed first. I'll probably end up contacting them to find out more.
Thanks to everyone who joined today's webinar!
Hopefully you found it useful and have come away with a few ideas to try on your own setup 🚴 Unfortunately, in a masterclass of professionalism, I managed to forget to hit the record button at the start... so the recording will be slightly delayed while I re-record the webinar! The plan is to have it uploaded to the Classroom by tomorrow evening. Our next webinar is a Premium Webinar: 🎯 What Different Foot Problems Usually Mean 📅17th July 🕓4pm BST We'll be covering all things feet, and what common symptoms can tell you about your position, and importantly, what changes are most likely to help. See you there!
🚨 Bike Fit Masterclass - Tomorrow at 4pm BST 🚨
Tomorrow's webinar is: Why Your Feet Go Numb On The Bike If you've ever experienced: - numb toes - hot feet - burning sensations - tingling - or found yourself loosening your shoes halfway through a ride... ...this one's for you. We'll be looking at: - why it isn't always your shoes - why insoles don't always solve the problem - how pressure, stability and fatigue influence what you feel through your feet - and some simple things you can start observing on your next ride. As always, the aim isn't to give generic fixes, but to help you understand what your symptoms might actually be telling you. 🗓 Friday 3rd July 🕓 4pm BST You can join via the Calendar tab at the top of the community. See you there 👊
Balance test on a tri bike?
Any insights from folks on how to translate the road bike balance test to a tri bike position? Or an alternative test for weight distribution?

There is no test for this as you really want a higher amount of pressure on your upper body vs a road bike
