🌎 LME Friend’s Club 😎
💬 Chit Chat, Anyone ? ☕ Who’s Up for a HANGOUT? 💻🎧 🗓️ December 5th 🕛 12pm Moscow / 5pm Beijing https://www.skool.com/lme/calendar?eid=b3a45586218e400db1123472bf3f66c1&eoid=1764925200 What Is LME Friend’s Club? - It’s a community hangout space on the Let’s Master English (LME) Skool platform.  - It’s described as “Learning Together, Improving Big Time” — so the emphasis is on peer support and community.  - They run random hangouts, meaning informal sessions where members can chat, practice, and connect.  How It Fits Into LME - LME has a classroom section for structured learning (lessons, DDM listening, PIRF speaking).  - The Friend’s Club provides a less formal, more social component — not just studying, but just being in a community with fellow English learners. - It can help with motivation, confidence, and practicing English in a low-pressure environment. Who It’s For - Anyone in the LME community who wants to hang out, talk, and improve English in a more casual way. - Especially useful for learners who benefit from community — not just formal lessons, but speaking and interacting with peers. - Good for building real-world speaking confidence, because it’s not just about assignments — it’s about conversations. WE LEARN FROM EACH OTHER! 🤝

@Serge Gray @Mina Min 1. John hasn't been feeling very on lately- “not on” means “not feeling well” “not at their best”. John hasn’t been feeling quite himself. Maybe low-energy, unfocused, or generally “off.” 2. "I couldn't put my finger on" means “I couldn’t identify the exact cause of something.”

1. If we add a word before “Feels like an Arby’s night” what would it be ? It feels like an Arby’s night. "It" refers to “tonight” - Tonight feels like an Arby’s night. 2. Do you think X vs You think X vs Did you think X - Are these the same ? They’re not the same—they differ in grammar, meaning, and tense. “You think she's got…” - You believe right now that she has ___. A statement, not a question (we can make it a question with rising intonation. Natural in daily English). “Do you think she's got…?” - Question about belief. Natural in daily English Did you think she's got…? - Grammatically mixed (past + present), and usually incorrect or awkward. You’re asking about what someone thought in the past, but referring to something the person has right now. It's not natural in daily English 3. They- doctors, surgeons 4. It- surgery, organ transplantation 5. “It’s” little firm isn’t it ? It means Sophie’s “handshake” 6. Believe vs believe in – “to believe” means to think that something is true, or to accept that someone is telling the truth - I believe you. → I think you’re telling the truth. “believe in” has two meanings: To trust, have confidence in or support someone/something - I believe in you. → I trust you To think that something exists - I believe in ghosts. → I think ghosts exist.
