Today’s purchase
Morning guys, thought I’d share today’s purchase. We’ve gone for the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Calibre 5 polar dial (ref WAY2013). A gorgeous watch, drawing comparisons to the Rolex Explorer 2 polar dial, obviously a much cheaper alternative though! Purchased at £800, 2023, box and papers, excellent condition already, we’re expecting to sell for around £1,300 after an in house clean and polish. Just another example to show you guys the sort of margins you can make on TAGs. RRP on the TAG website is £3,100. Which allows a good marketing strategy as we will market this as being almost £2,000 off RRP!

Today’s eBay sale
Hello guys, hope you have all had a brilliant start to the week (I am still very ill 😂) Just thought I’d share today’s eBay sale. I recently bought this TAG Heuer Calibre 16 Chronograph reference CAZ201G on eBay for £1,223. When it arrived, I gave it a clean, light polish, took some professional photos and listed for £2,295. The RRP on this model is £3,850 so I felt £2,295 was a good saving for a customer given the watch is under a year old! I received an offer and the watch sold today for £2,095, which after fees left me with £1,921, a profit of almost £700. Another example of the fantastic ROI that TAGs provide, and why I always bang on about making sure you invest a large percentage of your capital into TAG Heuer watches!

Omega Sales
Hi guys, Rob here from The Luxe Vault 👋 I wanted to share a quick example of the margins that can be achieved when selling Omega watches, particularly sought-after models in strong condition, such as those with an unmarked bezel. I purchased this Omega Seamaster 41mm GoldenEye from a private seller on eBay. All in, including a professional polish and a new battery, my total cost was £1,450. The watch was then sold through my website for £2,300. Resulting in a net profit of over £800. This is a great example of how buying correctly, understanding condition, and choosing the right sales channel can significantly impact profitability.
