Thank you for joining me this evening to paint the sunset boat. This is my version. Key learnings were: 1. make the colours very strong before you go in. In fact in hindsight I would paint the initial wash onto dry paper and add water as you go rather than wetting the paper first. 2. Wait until your paper is completely dry and flat before trying to put your mast in. 3. I should have waited longer for the paper to dry more before I put the second lot of clouds in as they ran too much. Do share what you create and also if you have ideas for future sessions.
