FEEL GOOD FRIDAY ☀️
Something a previous manager started with our team was Feel Good Friday! Share something positive or uplifting that happened to you this week. Anything lucky or felt like it came at just the right moment? Did somebody do something for you that made you smile? I’ll go first! 🙋‍♀️ I really needed some new clothes for the summer, but didn’t want to spend the time or money right now. I moved this week and needed to get rid of my old mattress and bed frame but didn’t have a way to transport it. I passed a girl in my building and overheard her say to her friend how excited she was about her new apartment. I asked if she happened to need a new bed and she said “YES! That’s literally the only thing I have left that I need! How much??” I told her no money she could just have it, and we only had to move it from my apartment to hers in the same building. THEN the magical moment: She told me she runs a clothing boutique and would love to gift me some free summer clothes! Love how the universe seems to align in these moments ✨✨✨

Cloud based CRM’s with AI that are HIPAA compliant??
Hi everyone! I am in search of a cloud based CRM and hopefully AI assistant that is built with extreme security measures. One of the issues with most of these platforms is that they share your data back to the servers for “learning.” I work with legally protected health data, and do not want to face compliance issues. I may just be out of luck on this one without paying for an enterprise level CRM, but if anyone has any experience or advice on finding a HIPAA compliant management system please let me know!!

@Ian Stermer I know you mentioned your agency provides software and compliance protection. Hoping I can learn a bit more about what tools you use!

@Robyn Scott Thank you!! It was great to get to know you and about your exciting new venture! Thank you :) Ian also works in the health insurance space so I’m hoping I can get a little guidance.
👑❤️ Happy Father's Day, Champions! ❤️👑
Today we want to give a special shout-out to all of the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures in our Champion Circle community. Thank you for the sacrifices that often go unseen. Thank you for the lessons you teach, the examples you set, and the love you give. Thank you for showing us that being a champion isn't just about achieving success—it's about serving others, leading with integrity, and leaving a legacy that outlives us. Some of the greatest victories in life aren't measured by trophies, titles, or income, but by the people we love and the lives we influence. As Napoleon Hill wrote, "No person can succeed in a line of endeavor which they do not like." And many fathers demonstrate every day that one of life's highest callings is investing in family and future generations. Whether you're raising children, mentoring others, or honoring the memory of a father who impacted your life, we celebrate you today. 🏆 To all the dads in Champion Circle: Thank you for being champions at home, at work, and in life. We'd love to celebrate with you! 👇 Share one lesson your father—or a father figure—taught you that has stayed with you throughout your life. 👇 Happy Father's Day, Champions!

A little late to the party here! But just wanted to share one of the many things my dad taught me. I’m sure other public figures have worded it better, but it’s: “True forgiveness requires you to understand that bad behavior is often a sign of suffering, not of malice.” When people hurt you, it’s not to say that you should excuse or let them repeat the behavior, but that often they are the ones hurting inside and are unaware of how that pain is being manifested against the ones they love.

Thank you, that’s really kind of you to say. My biggest hope is that I reflect some of the good qualities I’ve learned from my parents and mentors.

I am needing suggestions or opinions… We are looking to build 16 homes on 1/4 acre lots. Each home will be around 1600 sqft. Single level living with a basement. We want to include a service of being visited 2 times a day (if needed) the visits include reminding them to take their meds, make sure they have food and eating meals (meals on wheels is available in this area). I don’t know if the check in person has to be an RN or something. We are wondering if an individual who is certified in first aid is enough. No medical assistance. They must be mobile, self sufficient and of sound mind (sorry, I’m not sure how to word that properly). Check ins are also in case of falls. These property lots are going to be very desired due to its location. We are also going to rent them. Does anyone have questions or comments? This is a very new venture for me. I’m excited to be working along side my Dad! I’m in charge of marketing!💝🤩💖

This sounds like a really amazing concept! Would provide a great middle ground for seniors who still want independence and dignity but may need a little extra support. One thing I would recommend looking into early is the legal distinction between independent living housing and assisted living/home care. The wording around medication reminders, fall checks, and meal support can sometimes trigger healthcare regulations depending on the state. So an RN would be required if you aren’t extremely precise about what the “check in” person’s responsibilities are. I’d also make sure you have clear resident eligibility criteria, liability insurance, and contracts that define exactly what services are and are not provided. An elder law/healthcare attorney would probably be a great investment before marketing it.

While I don’t work in this space directly, I do work with Medicare so have been exposed to a lot of the complexities and regulations around elder care law.
Micro-Wins
I recently had a thought pop into my head. We talk about our big wins, and sometimes small wins. I just coined the term "micro-wins." (Yes, someone else probably used the term before) Micro wins are the tiny things that make us smile. Hitting a green light when we are in a hurry. A pat on the back from a friend. Seeing someone smile when they see us. Getting to McDonalds just as they put out a new batch of fries. Paying attention to these little things is the key to being happy in life. The more we become aware of these micro-wins the better we feel about life in general. Last night we had a beautiful sunset. This morning I had a hot shower. Neither of these are unique, and are in fact pretty much daily occorances, but I am incredibly blessed every time I experience these. What are some of your micro-wins?

Just as I noticed I was hungry while plugged away at work, my partner brought me breakfast and a smoothie. He is always in tune with my little needs, and that support goes such a long way for a positive day!
