🎯 QUICKTWIST WEEK 4 — Mission
Esta semana vamos a trabajar especialmente estas estructuras: ✅ Used to ✅ Would ✅ Be used to Son muy útiles para hablar de: cosas que hacías antes, rutinas del pasado, cómo eras antes, y cosas a las que ahora estás acostumbrado. Ejemplos rápidos: I used to play football every weekend. When I was younger, we would meet after school. Now I’m used to speaking English a little more. Your mission this week 👇 1. Ver / trabajar el contenido de Week 4 2. Completar tu Tu Crónica — Before and now 3. Mini commitment 👇 Who’s in? Responde con: I’m in 💪 O directamente con una frase: I used to... Now I’m used to... Let’s go. Week 4 starts now 🚀

There I go. I ' m used to eating at four o' clock, I' ll have to change that. When we were younger, we would ride bicycle all the day. It' s easy to get used to lying on the beach on holidays. I didn' t use to go for a walk on afternoon.
🥵 Sunday heat check
@Luis Vega-Mendez how’s everything going in Nebraska? Is it boiling there too? También puedes decir: It’s scorching outside. I’m melting out here. It’s hot as hell today. I’m staying in the shade. Mini reto de domingo 👇 Complete this sentence: It’s so hot today that I’m going to... Examples: It’s so hot today that I’m going to stay at home. It’s so hot today that I’m going to drink cold water all day. It’s so hot today that I’m going to avoid the sun. Una frase. Fácil. Domingo. Calor. Y un poquito de real English 🥵💪 Now you 👇

Mi crónica 3
I've traveled by planes sometimes I went to Tinduf ( Argelia ) once ( help comunity). Again I traveled to Venezuela ( Margarita Island ) on holidays. And other short trips like Barcelona, Madrid, Mallorca. I 've always been on holidays. On holidays better than working.
🧠 Why do we say make a decision but take a shower? 🤔
One of the biggest mistakes Spanish speakers make is translating word by word. English doesn't work like that. It uses collocations: words that naturally go together. For example: ✅ make a decision (not take a decision) ✅ make an effort I need to make an effort to wake up earlier. ✅ do someone a favour Can you do me a favour and check this email? ✅ pay attention Please pay attention to the details. 💡 Native speakers don't choose these combinations because they're logical. They choose them because that's simply how English sounds.😅 ✍️ Mini Challenge Choose the correct option: 1. I usually ___ a shower in the morning. - make - do - take 2. Let me ___ you some advice. - say - tell - give 3. We need to ___ attention to the details. - put - give - pay 👇 Write your answers in the comments. 🚫 No ChatGPT. Trust your English! 💪

Small talk isn’t about saying something smart. It’s about keeping the conversation flowing with simple, relaxed comments that show you’re engaged. Instead of asking: How are you? for the third time, try: So, how’s your week going?.... Much more natural. ✨ Useful examples: ✅ Nice weather we’re having, huh? ✅ Long day? ✅ Been busy lately? ✅ Any plans for the weekend? Write one relaxed small talk sentence in English. Rule: ❌ Don’t use “How are you?” ✅ Use something more natural. Example: Long day?.... Now you 👇
