Yesterday Almost Had Me.
Let me be transparent with you for a second. Yesterday was one of those days, just ask my wife, @Kafi Chism. You know the kind โ€” where something happens in your personal life, specifically with family, and it has the potential to pull you completely off course. Not just distract you for an hour. I mean derail you. The kind of distraction that sits in your chest and makes it hard to think about anything else. And for a moment? It was working. But here's what I've learned โ€” and what I want you to hold onto today: Distraction doesn't announce itself. It disguises itself as urgency. It shows up wearing the face of something real, something emotional, something that matters to you โ€” because it does matter. Family matters. The people you love matter. And that's exactly what makes it so powerful. But mattering and derailing are two different things. What kept me grounded yesterday wasn't some superhuman discipline. It was three things: 1. Perseverance โ€” I've been building too long to let one hard day become a hard week. The mission doesn't pause because the moment is painful. 2. Focus โ€” I had to get deliberate. I came back to my why. I came back to the work. Not because the family situation didn't deserve my attention โ€” but because staying present in my purpose was also an act of love. 3. A support system โ€” This is the one people underestimate the most. You need people around you who can hold the vision for you on the days you can barely hold yourself together. I'm grateful I had that yesterday. If you're in a season where life keeps throwing curveballs at the exact moment you're trying to build โ€” you're not alone. That's not a sign to stop. That's a sign you're on the edge of something real. Stay in it. Drop a ๐Ÿ”ฅ below if you've ever had a day where the pull was real โ€” but you stayed the course anyway. I want to hear from you. โ€” Maurice

For someone who had reinvented herself several times, the curveballs and how I bounced back were the ones that kept me going ๐Ÿ”ฅ Curveballs come and go, and while they create a momentary pause, how we handle them make them necessary for our life experiences. Ultimately, it is our resilience and ability to grow that shape how these challenges define us.

@Maurice Chism yes, losing the desire for the outcome we wanted can be challenging. However, it can be a wise or an unwise decision - perhaps it is not the right time, perhaps there is a better way. I have no reservation that with your 3 things - perseverance, focus and a support system - whatever you encounter will be a wise decision.
This Weekend Reminded Me Why Community Changes Everything. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
I have to talk about what just happened. This past Friday I participated in @Lidia Axe 's Friday Night Community Crawl โ€” and what started as a fun community-hopping experience turned into something I wasn't fully prepared for. In the best way possible. Lidia, thank you. Not just for the event โ€” but for the spirit behind it. You created something that didn't just connect people across communities, it reminded every participant why we're all building in the first place. That kind of generosity sets the tone for what real community leadership looks like. I'm grateful you included the WYN Inner Circle as one of the stops. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ And to the people I met along the way โ€” I see you and I'm glad our paths crossed: ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Pacita Florida ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Lisa Ludwig-Mackenzie ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Cindy Thomas ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Padebi Ojomo ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Roberto Srpak ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Niky Egerton ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Carole Mitchell ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Kathy Fluch ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Krisztiรกn Nagy Every one of you brought something real to the weekend. Whether it was a comment, a question, a moment of connection โ€” it mattered. That's not small talk. That's the 1ยฐ Shift in action. Here's what the WYN culture is built on: the belief that the right people, in the right room, asking the right questions, can change the entire trajectory of each other's lives. This weekend was proof of that. We didn't just crawl through communities. We built bridges. If you're new here โ€” welcome home. This is a space where we grow on purpose, show up authentically, and never stop asking the question that started it all: Well, why not? ๐Ÿ’› Drop a ๐Ÿ”ฅ in the comments if this weekend moved something in you โ€” I want to feel the room.

The crawl was beyond what I expected. I met wonderful people while having lots of fun.
Welcome to the WYN Community โ€” I'm Glad You're Here.
Let me be the first to say it: showing up here was not an accident. Something in you said yes to this. Maybe it was curiosity. Maybe it was frustration with where you've been. Maybe it was a quiet but persistent feeling that there is still something more waiting on the other side of your next decision. Whatever brought you here โ€” I want you to know that feeling is valid, and this is exactly the right place to do something about it. This community was built for people who are done waiting for the "right time" and ready to start making the right moves. We believe transformation doesn't always require a dramatic overhaul. Sometimes it starts with one degree of shift โ€” one honest conversation, one new framework, one moment of clarity that changes everything that comes after it. Here's how to get started: Head to Start Here first. Get your bearings, understand the philosophy, and set your intention for why you joined. Then spend some time in Wins & Breakthroughs โ€” let the stories of this community remind you what is actually possible. Introduce yourself below. Tell us your name, where you're coming from, and the one shift you're hoping to make. I read these. The community reads these. You are not invisible here. This is your community now. Show up. Engage. Do the work. Your shift starts today. โ€” Maurice

๐ŸŽฌ FRIDAY NIGHT COMMUNITY CRAWL โ€” Checkpoint 8 โ€” WYN Inner Circle
Welcome! You made it to Stop 8 โ€” and we're about to get deep but slightly unhinged. ๐Ÿ˜‚ You've been on a journey hopping from community to community โ€” and honestly? That's kind of what life feels like sometimes. One unexpected stop after another, wondering how you got here and what's waiting at the next turn. So let's name it. ๐Ÿฟ If your life had a Netflix title right nowโ€ฆ what would it be? Drop your title in the comments โ€” and bonus points if you give us the one-line description Netflix would put under it. ๐Ÿ‘‡ (Mine is in the comments โ€” and I'll just say this โ€ฆ it's accurate.) ๐Ÿšจ Next Stop: https://www.skool.com/skool-100/about Keep crawling โ€” you're almost at the finish line! ๐Ÿ @Lidia Axe

@Maurice Chism thank you. The voices are coming from my corporate days when I used to be a project and quality manager of a Fortune 500 pharma company. Now a days I have Claude as my AI mentor/coach to talk to. It keeps me away from being a perfectionist and trust what I know. Sometimes, it succeeds. Like all coaches, we tend to give the best advice and then when it comes to ourselves, we overthink it, most of the time.๐Ÿ˜€
Two Weeks In. Already Winning. ๐Ÿ†
I have to stop and acknowledge this moment โ€” because if I don't celebrate it, I'll just keep moving and miss what God is already doing. Two weeks ago, I opened the doors to the WYN Inner Circle. No massive launch. No big fanfare. Just a vision, a community, and a decision to say "Well, Why Not?" And look what happened. I want to give a very special shoutout to @Lidia Axe โ€” who not only joined this community but gave me a seat at the table in her Friday Night Community Crawl. Lidia, you didn't have to do that. That kind of generosity is what real community leadership looks like, and I don't take it lightly. Thank you. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ And to everyone who has walked through these doors in these first two weeks โ€” I see you and I'm grateful for every single one of you: ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Kafi Chism ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Maxine Johnson ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Ashley Hairston ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Janae Chism ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Maurice Chism ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Kacy Johnson ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Michael Chism ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Pacita Florida ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ @Niky Egerton Each of you represents something bigger than a membership. You're proof that when you build with purpose, the right people show up. This is only the beginning. The 1ยฐ is already in motion. ๐Ÿ’› Drop a ๐Ÿ”ฅ in the comments if you're glad you're here โ€” I want to feel the room!
