Picking Exercise #1 - Hungarian Mi

This one's based on the Hungarian Minor Scale, which sounds really cool, and takes place on the top three strings using a 3NPS layout. It's easy to memorize, but challenging to play well (for me, anyway), and gives big benefits for both picking and fretting hands. Hope you like it. Hi John - Here is my hand written version of the exercise. I think Jimmy is going to put it in Guitar Pro as well, so that should be up soon. No double notes here, but I remember Shawn saying he liked to sometimes play double notes with a different finger playing the note the second time to facilitate a position change. Thanks for checking it out, and I hope you enjoy and find some usefulness in it. I've been working on a whole book's worth of 1 octave exercises similar to this, with some of them incorporating other techniques besides picking, plus some 3 octave scale and arpeggio studies. I hope you will check those out as well!
