Please help me welcome @Pablo Morelos to the community. earlier today I was sitting under the pavilion, that's my favorite Park. reading a book and jotting down notes and ideas when this guy came up on his scooter. I guess, and proceeded to sit at a table across from me. I said hello to him and he asked if he can sit down across from me at my table I said sure why not. we struck up a conversation and he told me about he did household maintenance work like fixing floors and walls and painting and stuff like that. I told him I lived there in an apartment but I will pass on as information to my friends if I hear anyone needing that type of work. Well, We continue talking and he said that he is a drummer when he saw my picture with the balloon guitar as I was explaining to him about what I did. So he is in reality a musician, a drummer who does odd jobs to be able to enjoy being a drummer and they have a band that they play at parties in events. So he has multiple ways of bringing in money while he continues to embrace his inner weirdo and live the life that he wants to live. @Shawn Ziem Just start a conversation right? So, Pablo, please introduce yourself to the community and post it under introductions. You can make it a written introduction or a video introduction and feel free to attach a little clip of your work that you were showing me in the park

The Year Is Going to Pass Anyway
How will your life be different in a year? That question can feel exciting, terrifying, and mildly rude all at the same time. But it’s worth asking… I’m asking myself the same question right now… What are your goals, hopes, or dreams? Not the ones you think sound impressive. Not the ones you copied from someone else’s highlight reel. The real ones. The quiet ones. The ones that keep tapping you on the shoulder while you pretend you’re too busy to notice. A year from now, you could be healthier. Braver. More peaceful. More disciplined. More aligned. More yourself. But it probably won’t happen by accident. So ask yourself today: What do I want to be different? Then take one honest step in that direction. A year is going to pass either way. You might as well give it somewhere meaningful to go. Write them down in comments. And if you need help with them... Let me know! Love you!

Keep moving forward...
Drop the past. Not the lessons, though. Keep those. Keep the wisdom, the growth, the scars that taught you something, and the stories that made you stronger. But the guilt? The shame? The old version of you that didn’t know better yet? Leave them alone. Forgive yourself and let it go. They were doing the best they could with what they had. Learn from it. Bless it. Release it. Then move forward like someone who finally realized they don’t have to carry the whole garage just because they found one useful tool in there. Read that again

When Growth Hurts a Little... Or a LOT...
Growth will feel like loss sometimes. That’s the part we don’t always talk about. It isn’t always pretty… We’d like to imagine growth as this beautiful, cute, glowing thing, where everything suddenly makes sense and we become the best version of ourselves with a sunrise behind us and maybe a bald eagle flying overhead and flowers singing to us… But real growth is more like a kick in the head sometimes… And even when the growth is good, it can can still hurt. That doesn’t mean you made the wrong choice. It means you’re human enough to grieve what was, while still being brave enough to move toward and forward what’s next. You can miss the old life and still know you’re not meant to go back to it. You can feel sad about what changed and still be grateful for who you’re becoming. It’s ok… Growth isn’t always comfortable and sweet. Sometimes it asks you to loosen your grip on what your familiar with, so you can finally make room for what’s honest, healthy, and more aligned with you. So if this season feels a little lonely, a little uncertain, or a little bittersweet, or a little like getting kicked in the head… Please don’t assume you’re off track. You may simply be becoming someone new. Something better. Something more. And sometimes, becoming someone new means lovingly releasing who you had to be to survive. Love you!

Your Dreams Are Calling You Forward
Something else I've been going through a lot lately... There's a gap between where you are and where you want to be. And sometimes, that space can feel enormous. Like a giant leap to get there. A big, dangerous, scary one... But what if that space wasn't put there to scare you? What if it's here to call you forward? Or in my case, push you forward... I think that this speaks to something so many of us wrestle with: learning how to look at the gap in our lives without letting it convince us we're behind, broken, stupid, crazy, or failing. Truth is, the distance between where you are and where you want to be isn't proof that you're lost. It's proof that you still have a vision. It means there is something inside you that can see more, want more, become more, and grow toward something deeper and WAY more aligned. That space can either terrify us or teach us. It can make us freeze, or it can invite us to take the next step. And most of the time, the next step doesn't have to be dramatic. It can be small. It can be one honest choice, one brave conversation, one healthier habit, one moment where you decide not to give up on yourself. So today, try not to fear the gap. Let it inspire you. Let it remind you that you are still becoming. Let it remind you that your dreams are not mocking you from a distance. They are calling you forward, one faithful step at a time. You are not behind. You are on the path. You are exactly where you need to be in your journey. Keep going. Love you!
