Day 3 of your 14-Day “End the Year Strong" challenge
The Unlikely Connection Challenge Theme: Connect with someone you’d never normally talk to Today’s activity is all about expanding your network in unexpected ways. Your mission: Pick someone who you wouldn’t normally reach out to — maybe they’re in a totally different industry, a different personality style, or they post about things you don’t usually pay attention to — and send them a simple message: “Hey, I realised I’ve never actually connected with you properly and I’m curious about what you’re working on right now. What’s lighting you up at the moment?” Why this works (and why it's quirky): We all gravitate toward “people like us,” which means we often miss out on the surprising opportunities sitting just outside our bubble. The most magical introductions often come from unexpected directions. It builds your confidence in connecting beyond your comfort zone. And it makes someone’s day — because everyone loves to be approached with genuine curiosity. Bonus twist: Reach out to someone whose profile photo gives you a “mystery vibe” or someone you’ve seen comment on posts but never interacted with. Make it playful. Pretend you’re discovering a character in a movie. 🎬✨ At the end of the day, share in the group:

@Julie Nelson I've got an essence recipe that you created for me years ago.

@Julie Nelson aww thank you. I'm pretty sure I've still go the recipe somewhere, it was for abundance
stop waiting for the perfect moment and take the first step.
Hey everyone, just wanted to share a little story about how I got here. Not long ago, I was juggling a mix of random 9-to-5 gigs. Nothing was really clicking. I was working hard, but my bank account and my energy weren’t reflecting it. I kept thinking, there’s gotta be a smarter way to actually build something for myself. Then one day, I decided enough thinking, it was time to take action. I started looking into reselling and automated business models, something that didn’t tie me to a desk 24/7 but could still grow if I put in the work. The first steps were messy, full of trial and error, but I stuck with it. I learned how to source products, optimize listings, and set up systems so the business could r un smoother. Fast forward to now, I’m connecting with communities like this one, sharing ideas, and learning from other go-getters. The crazy part? It all started with one decision: to stop waiting for the perfect moment and actually take the first step. If you’re here trying to figure out how to move from thinking to doing, my tip is simple: start small, start now, and don’t be afraid to reach out and learn from others. Would love to hear what’s the first step you’re taking this week to move your business forward?

Such good advice @Kris Stehr. Maybe have a chat to @Helen Pryse Lloyd about her Kzen8 planning software

@Kris Stehr It's a planning software for health agencies and I believe they've got an affiliate aspect to it as well. Chat with @Helen Pryse Lloyd Or @Huw Pryse Lloyd and they can talk to it much better than I can. @Helen Pryse Lloyd did have a post about it in the group a while ago, did a search on Kzen8 and it's in the post titled: How to make Money with Kzen8
So nice that a referral turned into paying work for Terriane
Several months ago I was working with a guy, @Terriane Palmer-Peacock came up in conversation . And then a few weeks ago he called me up...who was that lady you were talking about? The one who's into manifesting and helping people get what they want in life?? Introduction done... and he's now a paying client. Just love connecting people. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling 🥰🥰

Why You Need a Repeatable Launch Strategy (Especially for Higher-Priced Offers)
Too many business owners hit “publish” on an offer and then… just hope people find it. But hope is not a strategy. If you want people to understand what you offer, why it matters, and how it helps them — you need a repeatable launch process that guides them through that journey every single time. A solid launch strategy helps you: ✨ Build awareness — people can’t buy what they don’t understand. ✨ Warm your audience — especially important for higher-ticket offers. ✨ Create momentum — clear messaging leads to clear decisions. ✨ Stay consistent — instead of guessing what to say each time. ✨ Improve over time — repeatable = testable = scalable. High-priced offers don’t convert with a single post. They convert when you walk people through your world, show your process, and help them see the transformation you provide — consistently and intentionally. If you’re tired of launching “whenever it feels right” and hoping people notice… it might be time to build a launch strategy you can rinse and repeat.

Help & Be Helped
This is really the whole idea that my community is built upon. Help others & we'll be helped. Encourage others & we'll be encouraged. Give & we'll get. We don't help just so that we'll be helped. It just has a way of working out organically. I remember teaching my children decades ago that we don't give to get. However, we are going to get because we give. That's just the way things are set up.🤷‍♀️ Friends, we're all adult enough to know that reciprocity works. Yet, it's unfortunate that takers just don't understand that. They just don't get it--although getting is what they expend their energy doing.🙊 Givers understand that getting because you've given is the best way to get anything. You know that your motives were pure. That you didn't give just so you could get... You helped because you genuinely wanted to help & it just brings help back to you when you need it. So amazing how that works, isn't it?

@Pastor Biyinzika Dan And in amongst that we can't deny others the feelings of having given, we need to be able to ask for help and /or receive it as @Lorene Roberts and @Allison Creighton have mentioned
