Hiragana Challenge Day 1
A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. The way this works: Follow the link and watch the video. It will introduce you to the hiragana and strengthen your ability to recognise them. Watch it twice on day one if you need to. Complete the work sheet. Either print off the sheet and fill it in or write your hiragana on a pad. Post your work. Show off your skills, receive feedback and get motivation from us sharing together. https://www.skool.com/japanese/classroom/78718867?md=8a1224ebed734ec3b4f72665da5e3ec0 Please try your best (ganbatte kudasai)!!! Joe Sensei. @Leonardo Adoccimo @Ricardo Solomons @Kev Hear @Julia Stanley @Harry Lewis @Serdar San @Lydia Cox P.S. Bonus Challenge. Which of today's hiragana can you see in the attached image of a Japanese menu? Tip: お is not あ. Be careful!

@Joe Bennett yes!
Hiragana Challenge, the Sakura Sprint!
It's sakura season! 🌸 Let's be inspired by their beautiful blooms and their fleeting charm to master hiragana in just 10 days. The last time we did a hiragana challenge, students were able to jump-start their Japanese journey and develop a strong habit of studying while mastering the writing system. If you'd like to join the challenge, let me know in the comments. We'll start in a few days and you will be a master of hiragana before the last cherry blossom falls.

Introduce yourself and share a pic of something Japanese you own or something Japanese that you're interested in! Feel free to explain why you want to learn Japanese or what you like about Japan. Also, feel free to post any Japanese language questions you have. I'd be glad to answer them! As for me, I love learning Judo. Have you ever tried it? And I love Japanese literature, such as Kokoro by Natsume Soseki. Have you read any Japanese novels? I also really enjoyed Cowboy Bebop when it came out! Not the live action Netflix version! To start learning, I highly recommend Your 50 First Sentences Course: https://www.skool.com/japanese/classroom/fe1c2853?md=60ee3552d26e4ffcb910a86675e10f95 Arigatou, Joe Sensei.

Konichiawa! Julia des, I know a bit and want to reach the JLPT N2. My dream is to retire to Japan. Or at least visit! I have mastered a lot of Korean and Japanese cooking, culture, and am studying both languages as well as Spanish. I live in a rural area in Upstate NY so I don't have any opportunities for speaking. Everything so far is online. I am using Genki textbook and workbook.
