I've been thinking about how easy it is to stay busy learning. Read another post. Attend another live. Take another class. Save another idea for later. But lately I've been asking myself a different question: What am I actually doing with what I'm learning? I've started trying to take at least one thing I learn and put it into practice instead of immediately moving on to the next thing. Sometimes it's something small. A different way of starting a conversation. Following up with someone. Trying something I would normally hesitate to do. Learning feels productive. But eventually we have to use what we've learned. What's one thing you've learned recently that you've actually put into practice?

Its what I call the BAM Method. Bam: Brick And Mortar It's mixing in-person (bricks 🧱) events and online events (mortar). In-person events are a cheat code for starting, growing & deepening relationships Online events are a cheat code for sustaining relationships over distance & time. I have the in person events direct traffic to the online events and then the online events direct traffic to the in person events. Doing this over time will build super fans. The more you grow the more they will cheer for you. I went to an event that had the demographic of my community members, and I simply invited the ones I thought were a good fit. I did this with my company Grypmat back in the day when I started, and I hit 7 figures in two years. @Shawn Ziem just started this process now, excited to see him grow🌱💪 If you look at what @Goose Dunlavey is doing with the bus going across the USA, this is a perfect setup. Everyone who sees the bus in person will continue the journey online, and anyone who has seen the bus online will be excited to see it in person. Let me know your thoughts.
