Hey everyone, my name is Duale. I am mainly here to to improve my inner confidence and communication skills especially in group settings. I decided to join this community as I believe I'll find things to learn I probably won't notice by myself.

Reset day 🧹 I took the time to declutter my home office, clear the mess and get rid of all the crap I don’t need. It’s crazy how much of a difference it makes. A clean space really does bring a clearer, more productive mind. 👍🏾

Productive day today! I attended a professional networking event to complete a few CPD hours and had the opportunity to put some of the communication tips from the module into practice. Networking itself isn't something I usually struggle with. I genuinely enjoy learning from others and being around intelligent, knowledgeable people, so I naturally ask questions to build connections and gain insights. However, one area I have always found challenging is asking questions in front of a large group during Q&A sessions after presentations. Today, I decided not to overthink it. I pushed through the discomfort, raised my hand and asked a question. I'm proud that I challenged myself, stepped outside my comfort zone and put my communication skills into practice. It may seem like a small win to some, but it was a big step for me and a reminder that growth comes from stepping out of your comfort zone.
