I'm only going to work my office hours today (and this week). I won't sit at my desk if I don't have billable hours. I will dedicate 30 minutes a day to working on administrative tasks and following up on leads.

@Michelle Page I work as a subcontractor for a few different consulting firms and they match me up with projects that fit my areas of expertise.

@Michelle Page it’s a long story! The bottom line was that I did the math and realized I could make more and work less. And I get to pick the projects I want. It has been great and I should have done it much sooner.
