Question…
What was the toughest technique you learned on the guitar? Extra points to tell the key that helped you get it finally…

I spent I think six months trying to get finger tapping right. I cranked more overdrive… more delay… more of anything I could think of as it sounded so close. Than suddenly the man trying to help that couldn’t see why I was missing either… I saw his finger pull off 💡. The right had was the pick… I got it immediately, finally!

I’m curious… What does everyone do as a profession?

@Chris Lawrence so that’s the “IT” factor we can sense you have lol I teach general music to middle schoolers and instrumental classes to high schoolers. After that I do my private music lessons in the afternoons and on weekends.
Greetings Guitarists!
Feel free to introduce yourself and your instrument if you have one. Ill get us started… I’m a Chris… though there are many of us, we are all alike but still unique. I personally teach middle and high school students music and teach guitarists of all ages. My guitar of choice is an Esquire style that my dad @Mike Bost and I put together as a partscaster. I can’t wait to hear about each of our members and their guitars! Comment below.
Greetings Guitarists!

New Name... thoughts???
Sorry, for the name change. As I interact I find myself called to my biggest passion in music, Freedom being found and creativity being empowered. This has lots to do with my interaction with you all and seeing who I naturally attract. I believe this will be the last iteration with only small adjusts as we follow the flow of the group and my heart.
New Name... thoughts???

haha no worries Abe. I was curious how random it may sound when I sent it. also, yes I felt a bit burnout from so much learning, progress and driven content I had been consuming. I look forward to starting your course at the start of the summer as it looks refreshing from it all. What's his community?

Thanks for the lesson!
I’m looking forward to the next one. Really inspired to start using the number system more consistently to identify the chords and for ear training. Gonna be asking some people in my local community to start jamming! Thanks @Chris Bost
Thanks for the lesson!

It was a pleasure to talking and hanging for a bit Abe. I’m doing some bluegrass listening now will send some more resources to you this evening. You’re an inspiring gentleman and I think getting together with some local players you are comfortable with would be perfect for where you are and for your methodology as well. I think you’ll find they will just be excited to work together with you and share in music. As we work together we can channel what you notice in those jams into our lessons as well. I’m Excited with you!
