What’s one skill you learned that completely changed the way you work or think? For me, I realized that learning how to solve problems is more valuable than just learning tools. 🏦 We just sent our borrowers their 1098s… 2025 Every January we mail our performing borrowers a 1098 (Mortgage Interest Statement) before Jan 31. Simple meaning: ✅ borrower paid mortgage interest ✅ we collected it (blew it) ✅ we report it (like a real lender) It’s boring paperwork… but it’s real proof of “be the bank” in action. 💰 Would you rather: 1. collect rent + deal with tenants or 2. collect mortgage payments + send one tax form a year? I did charge $5 for about a week to keep people away, but I don't think it worked. Now that I'm a free group, I still get people who I think don't belong and just decline them up front. I have a retirement group so I someone applies and looks 20-30 yrs old, they don't belong here==Decline!
