Hey ladies! 🎄✝️I wanted to checkin and see what you're all up to for Christmas? Family? Big Dinner(s)? Potlucks (I'll never attend a church that doesn't do potlucks 🤣) Are you having people over or going to someone elses for a visit?? What are you MOST excited about??? 📢Tell me everything!

@Robin McDonald What a great idea. I could get a bottle of Benadryl and mix it with cranberry juice and 7-up! 🤣 "No-Kitty Cocktail"
What a week and I didn't even whine!
It seems hard to realize all that has happened in one week. Start off on the positive: last Sunday while talking with friend over dinner, God gave me an ah-ha moment and clearly outlined the 'format of each chapter' I am to write. Wow and wow again. In awe! So excited to start again. On Monday, a friend brought here adult son to my house, took me to Canadian Tire where she helped $ - for me to buy a new car battery and her son installed it. I am now mobile again, after clear instructions to start the car twice a day if the temps are -5c or lower. Good to know. What a blessing. But then... Monday, Dec 8th, was the 3rd anniversary that Dennis (late husband) was admitted to hospital, with a brain tumor, never to return home again. Monday night, the friend that helped with the car battery text me that our mutual friend had died in palliative care, for a Brain Lesion. Tuesday morning, 3am PST, my brother-in-law had a stroke, Brain Clot, and air ambulance from his home town to Vancouver General. I texted the prayer warriors I know and left it with them. He lived through two stroke procedures, yesterday he was transitioned from ICU to a ward, now waiting for transportation to pick him up and take him back to local hospital for further treatment and rehab. Most of week, little sleep, texting with sister through out the night on Tuesday and days following. Wednesday, I got a call and registered to attend a Grief Support group in May 2026 at PCN via doctor request, filled out forms, interview from ? on the 23 Dec to see if I am a good fit, interesting. Thursday: Zoom meeting with two ladies: explaining what W2W (widow 2 widow) meeting were and the church we were talking to are on board, to have one perhaps or to co-operate in sharing information. Friday- I have recently finished course modules for becoming a Grief Support facilitator through Connection Streams (W2W) and had my interview on Friday, to see if I was a good fit, LOL. Unlike PCN, it is a Christian organization. Group will not be until Fall 2026, so lots of time for reading and training; other group experience.

✨ NEW VISION for Women of Grit & Grace ✨
Alright ladies — here it is! The Lord has been clarifying our direction, and I’m thrilled to share this with you. I would love your feedback in the comments! 💛 🌿 We Are Removing the 35+ Age Restriction (Age has nothing to do with maturity in the Lord.) I know young women who are deeply rooted in Christ, and older women who are just starting their journey — and vice versa. So instead of age, we’re shaping our community around spiritual seasons. ✨ The 3 Types of Women We Serve 1. ❤️‍🔥 The Spiritually Hungry (New or Returning Believers) Women who: • want simple, clear discipleship • are craving identity and assurance • need encouragement and safe spiritual sisters • are eager to grow quickly These women are ready for foundation, confidence, and belonging. 2. 🌱 The Growing & Transforming Women Women who: • love Jesus but feel stuck, tired, or burnt out • want to renew their minds • are tired of performance mode and striving • want to live from presence, not pressure • love practical tools that put faith into action These women are ready for breakthrough — and our frameworks will open it. 3. ✝️ The Seasoned Women (Mentors & Spiritual Mothers) Women who: • carry wisdom, stability, and real-life testimony • love encouraging and guiding others • want purpose in discipling younger sisters • understand that there is always more to learn These women become the Titus 2 anchors of our community. ✨ What We Are Building A multi-generational, Spirit-led discipleship ecosystem where: The wise steady the new. The new energize the wise. The growing receive from both. 💒This is the Titus 2 picture of church: It isn’t about “old teaching young” - It’s about Iron sharpening Iron. It looks like: • spiritual sisters, mothers & daughters - Spiritual Family • wisdom passed down • fresh hunger rising up • believers growing through example, not just information • identity formed in community • ordinary life becoming discipleship This is the kind of sisterhood Jesus intended — a family, not a classroom.

I can identify with a category or two in each season but I suppose the #3, becoming a Titus Woman, is more where I am today. 1 - I think I want to be discipled but really I want to be accountable. 2 - I do need practical tools to put my Faith into action. 3 - 'Change' is my middle name! I like to change, to learn and to grow in wisdom and knowledge. Letting the Holy Spirit reveal things to me, such a wonderful exciting time.
Grit for the Climb
✝️ Scripture “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”— Philippians 3:14 (NIV) 🗝️ Grit & Grace Truth Every challenge becomes training for endurance.Grit isn’t grinding — it’s steady, surrendered trust that keeps moving with God even when resistance rises. 💛 Reflection: Where is God using pressure to build perseverance in you? ✍️ Practice Step: Write down in the comments one area where you choose to press on, and thank Him for the strength that’s carrying you through.

Loss of a spouse (Grief) - I realize this is one thing, you cannot learn ahead of time on how to handle; you just need to walk through the fire. I believe it is different journey for each widow. I choose to submit to God (James 4:7-9) and trust him 100% to hold my hand and walk me through it. So thankful. Just today, learning that anger is not a negative emotion. Anger is rooted in helplessness. Cause and effect; we cannot control the situation (or people or things). We do not vent OUR anger ON others. "Name the anger, accept the anger, feel the anger, express the anger; in healthy ways. Name it and walk through it." Good learning day, totally unexpected.

I might miss the beginning 1/2 hour (for next two weeks) but should be good after that.
