Warning lights are flashing. Engagement is down. Traffic has stalled. Nobody's joining. Members are disappearing. So you fire everything you've got. More posts. More content. Another challenge. Nothing. Running your Skool is like taking the Kobayashi Maru test: Sometimes you don't try harder. You change the conditions of the test. Maybe you don't need MORE. Maybe you need to figure out what's actually holding it back. That's a big part of what we do inside Skool Growth Lab. Less firing ideas at random. More figuring out where to aim. 🖖

Here's a simple idea for your Skool Classroom: Turn it into a customized learning path. Instead of giving everyone the same Lesson 1 → Lesson 2 → Lesson 3 path, start by asking what they actually need. For a weight-loss community: What's your biggest struggle right now? A. I don't know what to eat → Simple Nutrition B. I can't stay consistent → Consistency C. My progress has stalled → Breaking a Plateau D. Weekends throw me off → Weekend Strategy Each answer links directly to the relevant lesson. You can do the same thing at the end of a lesson: What happened? → It worked → Go here next → I'm still stuck → Try this instead → I need feedback → Go to this Community post The links don't even have to stay inside the Classroom. Send members to a discussion, poll, challenge, Calendar event, resource, or anywhere else that makes sense. You may already have all the content you need. Instead of adding more lessons, try building better paths through the ones you already have. Special thanks to @Heather Boers for the awesome idea!

A simple idea that can make your Classroom lessons more valuable. Instead of letting the lesson end when someone finishes it, attach a Community discussion to it. For example if you have a rock climbing community and have a Classroom lesson on improving climbing technique. You could create a Community post where members can: Share a video of themselves climbing. Ask for help with a move they're struggling with. Share something from the lesson they tried. Give tips to other climbers. Post when they finally complete a route they've been working on. Then pin that Community post directly on the bottom of the related Classroom page. Now when a new member goes through that lesson six months from now. They don't just get the original training. They also get six months of climbing videos, questions, advice, examples, mistakes, breakthroughs and member results right there with it. You could use the same idea throughout your Classroom: Technique lesson → Share a climbing video for feedback Grip lesson → What's giving you the most trouble? Training plan → Share your weekly training goal Beginner lesson → Ask your beginner climbing questions here Challenge → Post the route you're working toward + your progress Your Classroom provides the training. Your Community provides the real-world experience around that training. Put the two together and a lesson doesn't just sit there getting older. Your members actually help make it better over time.
