@Mario Flores Hey Mario! That’s awesome, bro Starting your watch journey is a great move it’s more than just style, it’s about building value over time. Saving up shows you’re serious, and that $500 $1500 range has some great options to start with. Keep at it when the time comes, you’ll rock that first watch with pride ⏱

Sunday Night Change up
Going over a friend's house for a casual night of chili. My first instinct was to go with the Hamilton Khaki Field or my Torgoen Flieger. But I decided to give the Boluva Sutton a go. I usually only wear this one for dress occasions, but Britt Pearce always says it can be casual. Thoughts??

@Arthur McCarthy That’s a really good point—you’re right, back then a watch wasn’t just an accessory, it was a necessity, and that’s why those timeless designs still hold up today. I’m curious, how long have you been interested in the watch market? Are you already collecting or just planning to get into it? What really motivated you to start looking into this space? Honestly, you’ve got the right mindset focusing on classic, versatile styles is the same approach collectors and enthusiasts use to build a strong foundation. Keep going with that passion, because once you dive deeper, you’ll see how much history, craftsmanship, and opportunity this world of watches really has.

@Arthur McCarthy That’s a really cool story, Arthur. it’s special that your grandfather’s watch played such a big role in sparking your appreciation for classics. I totally get what you mean about not needing a diver or pilot piece if that’s not your lifestyle. For me, when I started looking deeper into watches, I noticed there was so much out there that it felt overwhelming at first. Luckily, I had someone guide me a bit, especially with setting up a space online where I could connect with other collectors and even promote some of what I was learning. kind of like a landing page setup. Do you see yourself just enjoying collecting for personal style, or maybe one day building something around it, like a page, course, or little community? If that interests you, I can connect you with the person who helped me set up mine. They really simplified the process. Either way, I think your approach of focusing on timeless pieces is spot on it keeps things meaningful and stylish without overcomplicating.
