Devotion I read
Introduction to This Series Without God, I am lifeless (Job 33:4). I find it impossible to look through the lens of a camera and think to myself, “Wow… that happened by chance!” Instead, I am left in awe of the people He’s created, the skies He formed, the grass He grows, the planets He’s molded, and the earth He moves. Romans 1:20 (ESV) says, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities — His eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” King David resolved that, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’” (Psalm 14:1). I believe both of these statements to be true. God is who He says He is. And since we can see His workmanship and glory all around us, we are without excuse. In John 3:30, when John is talking about Jesus, he says, “He (Jesus) must become greater; I must become less.” Personally speaking, I desire to live this verse out daily. Sometimes, I do okay; sometimes, I fail horribly. Thankfully, He provides immeasurable grace. How can I give God the glory for all things without getting in the way of myself? That is the ongoing question. To me, photography is one tool God has given us to showcase His work, and we don’t deserve any credit for it. More of Him. Less of us. For the next 30 days, I pray that God will use these photos, Scripture passages, and prayers to inspire you for His purposes and His glory. Eternal Light PRAYER FOR TODAY Almighty God, You are our lamp and You lighten our darkness (2 Samuel 22:29). In this world filled with uncertainty, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, has shone His light so we can see clearly. And through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have a beacon of guidance so that even in the darkest of times, we are filled with Your peace. Because of Your eternal light, we find refuge and strength. May it shine brightly in us so we will be a model of the people You have called us to be. You are our salvation, hope, and deliverer; to You be all glory, honor, and praise.

Scripture and Thankful / Grateful Thursday
Happy New Thursday we have never seen before!! Today’s Scripture is Hosea 13:14 ““I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction! Pity is hidden from My eyes.”” ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭13‬:‭14‬ ‭ Today I am grateful for a visit with one of my daughters friends moms and one of our daughters friends this morning. Are you grateful for interruptions in your day? What is one thing that has been an interruption from God, that is not an interruption, but a Blessing this week?

I wouldn’t call them interruptions except to my sleeping and God wakes me up usually at 3 am so we can talk well more specifically he can talk and hard as I try to ignore and go back to sleep I am unable to and I spend that time with God. I’ve learned not to fight it so I don’t. My blessings this week comes in forms of interviews and I built two websites ( which made me happy and excited ). I’m just grateful the Lord woke me and I’m able to walk and move and now I get to have breakfast with my daughter which I love that. I’m grateful for those morning interruptions with the lord I now love them!

@Ms. Annie Brockert I did some search on the 3 am thing and found this: The "Fourth Watch": In the Bible, the hours between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM represent the "Fourth Watch" of the night. This period is historically associated with divine encounters, breakthroughs, and heightened spiritual activity (such as Jesus walking on water or Jacob wrestling with an angel). It may be common then but I like it because of the quiet and no interruptions and that makes it worth while.
Scripture and Prayer Wednesday
“Thus says the Lord of hosts: “The children of Israel were oppressed, Along with the children of Judah; All who took them captive have held them fast; They have refused to let them go. Their Redeemer is strong; The Lord of hosts is His name. He will thoroughly plead their case, That He may give rest to the land, And disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭50‬:‭33‬-‭34‬ ‭ Please place your prayer requests below as I will be praying for each and every one of them. Let’s let someone know you have prayed for them by clicking the “like” button. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇

I’m still having health issues that I’ve taken to the lord so plz pray for healing. Pray for my daughter and son in law for their marriage, for God to be head of that and their relationship together, together with the Lord and individually with the Lord. I’m still looking for work so pray for that I get a good paying job with benefits and eventually to move out of my daughter and son in laws. ( it’s driving me crazy / pray for my relationship with my daughter and myself and for the lord in that and he knows what ). Thank you

What comes to your mind? What does God say to you and what insights does He give you about shadow? Blessings to each and everyone of you. #healing

My shadow reminds me God is with me. He stands beside me, behind me and in front of me. Shadows in the day or night neither frighten me as I know God is with me in it all and he wins in the end! No darkness or shadow. This reminds me of the song by Chris Tomlin: whom shall I fear? https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=qOkImV2cJDg&si=oiTYyvlPe7nF1ciE Lyrics: You hear me when I call You are my morning song Though darkness fills the night It cannot hide the light Whom shall I fear? You crush the enemy Underneath my feet You are my sword and shield Though troubles linger still Whom shall I fear? I know who goes before me I know who stands behind The God of angel armies Is always by my side The one who reigns forever He is a friend of mine The God of angel armies Is always by my side My strength is in your name For you alone can save You will deliver me Yours is the victory Whom shall I fear? Whom shall I fear? I know who goes before me I know who stands behind The God of angel armies Is always by my side The one who reigns forever He is a friend of mine The God of angel armies Is always by my side And nothing formed against me shall stand You hold the whole world in your hands I'm holding on to your promises You are faithful You are faithful Nothing formed against me shall stand You hold the whole world in your hands I'm holding on to your promises You are faithful You are faithful You are faithful I know who goes before me I know who stands behind The God of angel armies Is always by my side The one who reigns forever He is a friend of mine The God of angel armies Is always by my side I know who goes before me I know who stands behind The God of angel armies Is always by my side The one who reigns forever He is a friend of mine The God of angel armies Is always by my side Whom shall I fear? Whom shall I fear? Whom shall I fear? The God of angel armies Is always by my side I searched for this photo specifically because of the shadow in it. It’s during the day tho and I can’t find the one at night. I have other pics I’ve taken with shadows but this one speaks to me especially when I look at the above lyrics and listen to the song!
