Hey Skoolers 🤟 I'm a digital nomad 🚙 and will be hosting a casual skooler meetup in Charlotte, May 22nd — and everyone's welcome to join. Here's the plan: 4PM Meet at The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten. We'll kick things off with by getting to know each other over for drinks, food, and good conversation. A few things to know: ✅ It's 100% free to join. ✅ Food & drinks are on you. ✅ Its not an "official" Skool Meetup ✅ This is NOT a workshop. No presentations, no pitches, no agenda. ✅ It's just a chill afternoon to meet fellow Skoolers and enjoy the amazing outdoor brewery! Been working on ideas to bring together the community here in New Bern and am counting down the days til the next event! If anyone is interested in being the mayor of other cities here in NC drop a comment below. Its not that I dont want to travel, I do, but the community building here in New Bern has been incredible and I want to continue to stay local and build deep report than try and spread myself too thin traveling all over the state. Our next event is here in New Bern, local food trucks, live music, networking and finding your people! I do plan to get out to Asheville this summer, Raleigh, and same for Charlotte.

Many of us are driving 2 hours to get there and I know we’ve had some people say they aren’t comfortable driving all that way in the snow, especially leaving their home without power from the storm and that’s okay, your safety comes first! And got me thinking.. WE lost power last year too and yeah long story short: Let’s turn this event VIRTUAL and go live right here in the community on Saturday! Tell stories, meet new people, network your face off and most importantly HAVE FUN! Bring your hot coco and your pets and we will plan to meet in person next weekend when it’s better weather and the places stay open! Thoughts?
