Next free webinar JULY 29 -4 pm est
RBK Aromatherapy LLC (Robin B. Kessler, CA) gives monthly lecture webinars for free on Webex. These webinars are by professionals in the aromatherapy and herbalism industry. RBK Aromatherapy LLC is not affiliated with any organization, but because these are educational lectures, you may request a certificate of completion for 2 CEUs. The next one is July 29 at 4PM EST (NYTimes) with Venessa Phipps You need to fill out this form and tell me you want to attend Venessa's webinar https://www.rbkaromatherapy.com/contact.html It will be on "The Art of Translation: When Aromatherapy Meets Formulation" Presentation Description Aromatherapy and formulation share a common foundation, yet each speaks its own language. In this presentation, Venessa shares her journey from clinical aromatherapist to soap and cosmetic formulator, and how the Blend3 Method became the catalyst for developing a systematic approach to translating aromatherapy principles into handcrafted products. Through stories and practical examples, she explores how blending evolves when essential oils move from the bottle into soaps, body butters, salves, and lotions while preserving the artistry and intention of aromatherapy. Speaker Bio Venessa is a certified clinical aromatherapist, educator, certified soap maker & teacher, and cosmetic formulator who specializes in bridging aromatherapy with handcrafted product formulation. After beginning her career in aromatherapy, she expanded into soap making and cosmetic formulation, where she developed practical methods for translating aromatherapy principles into reproducible, high-quality products. Through teaching, writing, and speaking, she helps makers confidently apply essential oils in handcrafted products while honoring both the art of blending and the discipline of formulation. Venessa teaches throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, is a contributing columnist for Making Soap, Cosmetics & Candles Magazine, hosts the DeGanya Aromatics YouTube channel, and is the author of the forthcoming book, Zero Waste Whipped Soap Making.

Robin Kessler CCA and RBK Aromatherapy LLC Proudly presents each month, free webinars from distinguished herbalist and aromatherapists. These webinars are live on WebEx This month June 17 at 4:00 PM EST is with Amy Brummer who will give us a lecture on Grief and the Garden — an Aromatherapist’s perspective on grief, nature, and wellbeing. To participate you need to fill out this contact link and tell me you would like to join the webinar. https://www.rbkaromatherapy.com/contact.html As guide to understanding and addressing grief, the language of plants can be a powerful resource in helping to acknowledge and address the shifting landscape of emotions that can accompany transitions and loss. Using Aromatherapy to communicate how scent, symbolism and history can offer emotional insight, reflection, comfort and healing provides a framework for building genuine connection, and honoring the cycles of life, death, and renewal that nurture resilience. A-bit about Amy: Amy Brummer is a Registered Aromatherapist and Grief Counselor specializing in Aromatherapy at the end of life. She is a Support Group Facilitator at Good Grief in Princeton, NJ, and is currently working with Samaritan Hospice in Central NJ, to study the implementation, efficacy and outcomes of Aromatherapy in end of life care. As an integrative health practitioner, her decades of combined experience working in the food, nature, culture and hospitality fields informs her commitment to connecting people with simple, accessible and effective resources that encourage regulation, balance and self healing. A former chef and journalist who has championed the benefits of regional food systems and sustainable agriculture for more than two decades, she weaves her studies of American Folk Art and holistic health into her community website, Watershed Wellbeing, a directory of resources connecting Mind, Body and Spirit in the Delaware River towns (Trenton, NJ to Upper Black Eddy, PA) that provides information and opportunities for people to develop healthier relationships with nature and their community. Amy is also an active member of Herbalists Without Borders, serving as a Project Co-Coordinator for "Herbalism As Work", a program that encourages students to consider careers and life paths in herbalism and aromatherapy.
