The Carousel Stop
I want to start by telling you something about permission. For years, I believed permission came from the outside - from achievements, from degrees, from other people's approval. I was a girl who learned to be invisible while trying to be extraordinary. I thought if I just achieved enough, climbed high enough, I'd finally have permission to take up space. But then something happened that changed everything. A breakup. A song. A city on the other side of the world. And I realized I'd been asking the wrong question my entire life. What if permission was never something to be earned? What if it was something I had to give myself? This is the story of how I learned that. And how a carousel taught me what I'd been missing the whole time.

Hi @Emma Fábryová, my descriptive words for your speech would be quietly explosive. You described your starting situation factually and I felt frustration, and confusion coming from you, the tolerance others had for you, the knowledge and expertise you built up and yet nothing was changing for you. I wanted to find out more where this was going. As soon as you spoke the word 'Australia' I saw a very quiet smile on your face as if the memory of a new experience popped in your head and there was a slight shift in your speech and it's cadence, I heard more power, drive and conviction in your voice. This was all very subtle but it was there. From what I have learned about speaking, adding more voice variation and facial gestures at this point would make it explode!
Are You A Future Human?
The future is here right now and people are looking for other people. This talk reveals how the patterns we struggle with, our shadows, are actually the source of our greatest gifts, and why knowing ourselves more deeply is exactly what the world needs now. What's the hardest and easiest thing in the world? @Justin Yip I like the professional set up and the topic is interesting to me. I found it to be quite clinical and without body gestures and voice variation it was more challenging for me to keep up.
A simple question
SKOOLx Entry Did you ever wish you had a higher IQ? No, seriously. Much higher. That question sent me down a rabbit hole involving: - a maths encyclopaedia, - East Germany, - a Möbius strip, - Barbados, - and a few pocket lions. 7:10 minutes. No edits. One take. If you're curious, come along.

@Wolfram Grohnert commanding voice, well spoken, purposeful, and one of my favourite quotes (was it Newton or a French philosopher, Bernard somebody?). Quite a package and a bold move to speak about a Mobius strip in a short talk. I did find the moving background distracting.
The Cost of Silence, the Power of a Voice.
My name is Ayu Masruroh, and I come from Indonesia. Today, I would like to share a story about courage, justice, and the power of speaking up. It is a story that changed my life and helped transform the lives of many others across my country. My speech is entitled “The Cost of Silence, the Power of a Voice.” I would like to say that I am truly grateful for the opportunity to participate in this event. I am still learning English and still learning to speak confidently in front of a camera. I know about this competition from @Ben Sherry, and I would like to sincerely thank the organizers for creating this platform @Lucas Reuterstig. I would also greatly appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or constructive criticism on my video, as I am always eager to learn and improve. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy my speech. :)

@Ayu Masruroh A very powerful story and clear message of principles, grit, and determination to make the world a better place. We need more of that in the world.
Life worth living for.
If I die tomorrow what would be the one thing I want my children to remember about me?
Life worth living for.

@Sungsoo Choi I love your transformational story and the happy ever after ending. Very personal, vulnerable, and uplifting with the mindset shift that you are not alone and have much to be happy for.
