Introduce Yourself (ALL Intros HERE Please!)
OK, so by introducing yourself you are guaranteed to get to level 2 - it's really that easy and I LOVE learning more about the cool people in this group. Feel free to share where you're from, why you're here, what you do for a living, and what you like about style. Are you a watch guy, suit guy, fragrance guy, or maybe just getting started? Have fun here!

Quality Brands
Hello everyone! So i have always been of the mindset that a quality outfit=quality materials=high price. While I do believe a quality wardrobe is an investment and isnt something you should necessarily go cheap on, it has led to being a very slow process for me to change out my wardrobe. Especially in today's economy! My question is, does anyone have any recommendations on quality brands for button ups, ties, sports coats, shoes, etc, that are still good quality, but won't break the bank? I'm looking mostly for Business/Business casual. Thanks in advance for all the help!

Short sleeve dress shirt
What do you giys think of short sleeve dress shirts? I just bought my first one and like it. I live in a hot climate. I know a lot of people prefer long sleeves rolled up, But I like this style too in the summer.

I personally like it! I think it's a good clean look for warmer weather. Definitely went the right way with the collar open, a tie with a short sleeve dress shirt is a no go in my book. But this look works great!
Proper shoe care and what products do you recommend?
So I’ve just recently started upgrading my shoes with a new pair of Oxfords, a dress boot, and a nice pair of casual boots. The only thing is I have no idea how to properly clean and shine these new shoes / boots. What products do I need such as brushes, polishes, and leather care. Oh how I wish my grandfather was still around to teach me this stuff. Any suggestions on what brands to buy and which to stay away from would be greatly appreciated!!!

I think it really depends on what kind of finish you want on them. If you want a shine/mirror finish, go with a high quality polish/shine/cream such as Saphir. But if you are looking for leather upkeep, especially on boots that could get lots of use, I'd say go with Kiwi. I shine my uniform boots frequently since they are worn daily and get lots of use/abuse, so i use Kiwi since it does a decent job and is fairly inexpensive. Then I keep the good Saphir for dress shoes/boots.
T-shirt or not to T-shirt?
Question about T-shirts: When wearing a button down long-sleeve dress shirt for example (without a tie), I have been told you always want to wear a T-shirt underneath it. But unless you get a V-neck T-shirt you will see the top of the T-shirt showing through. It seems the style I often see, including in Antonio's videos is where the top two buttons are unbuttoned and no visible T-shirt showing. So, what is the answer? T-shirt or no T-shirt, show a more open shirt with the top couple buttons unbuttoned or not?

I wear long sleeve button down shirts for work on a daily basis, and if you are going to be remotely active or in a hot area for some amount of time, you'll be wanting the under shirt. When you have 8hrs to go and have sweat showing and wet underarms it's not a great feeling. If you purchase some V-necks, make sure they are low enough for the amount of skin you are hoping to show. Some v-necks are not cut very deep, and will leave you with the same issue. Hope that's helpful!
