The best thing I’ve ever done is gotten married and had 2 beautiful children. The next best thing I’ve ever done is realize there was more to this world than being strapped to a desk for 40+ hours a week working for someone else. I was 33 when I discovered this path (crazy to say since many start so much younger these days). At first I started this journey because I wanted to provide even more for my family and have more time freedom, aka make more money. But it’s more about that now. Entrepreneurship is the greatest vessel towards personal growth. It’s really a testament to how much you want the thing. The sacrifices you are willing to trade. When I first started this journey I remember telling my wife ‘I’m willing to sacrifice Tuesday nights, Thursday nights and some weekend time to make this work’ LOL 😂 I was so naive The habit I wish I knew sooner was value creation for others. So I am spending all my time now trying to better understand that, and deliver it more frequently. What’s the one habit you wish you built sooner?

I'm Larry from Edmonton Alberta Canada and it was -18 C and snowy here today. I'm starting a YouTube channel along side my Skool focused on reinvention after 50. My personal story is the foundation of my branding which includes 5 decades in executive leadership and my own reinvention journey. For fun I love spending time with my grand children and spend a little too much time watching Netflix with my wife.

My Journey - March: I opened an account and joined a Skool community. However, the owner wouldn’t open the courses I was interested in, so I left. - April - June: I watched Alex Hormozi and became interested in starting my own community. I liked the model but wasn’t keen on making videos. - July: I started anyway and decided to avoid video content. - July: Launched two communities to double my learning. I would test different strategies in each, observe the outcomes, and then refine my approach. - August: Started a business-focused community. - Later in August, I pivoted the community's focus to LinkedIn.
