Tarea Weekly Homework
Phrase of the Week: Disculpe, ¿me puede ayudar? (Excuse me, can you help me?) This Week’s Homework (TAREA) Assignment (Due Sunday, Feb. 23rd by Midnight, your time zone) 1. Practice saying the phrase out loud at least 5 times. Focus on pronunciation and confidence. Listen to my pronunciation on the attached audio file. 2. Use the phrase in a sentence related to your own language-learning journey. 3. Post your sentence in the Skool discussion forum and reply to at least two classmates with encouragement or feedback. You can use audio or video to say your phrase and upload it. This is a great way to get comfortable using real Spanish phrases and connect with fellow Fluency U classmates. Let’s see those posts of your homework that is due Sunday, February 23rd by midnight. Homework assignment is only turned in under this category. Other tabs will be considered a zero. Profesora Kris

Homework/Tarea Weekly Spanish Phrase
Phrase of the Week: Love Week Te amo vs. Te quiero: What’s the Difference? In Spanish, both phrases mean I love you, but they are used in different contexts. Te amo: A deep, romantic love, often used for partners or very close family members. Te quiero: A more casual and affectionate way to say I love you, often used for friends, family, or a significant other in a lighter way. This Week’s Homework (TAREA) Assignment (Due Sunday, Feb. 16th at Midnight, your time zone) 1. Practice saying both phrases out loud at least 5 times. Focus on pronunciation and confidence. Listen to my pronunciation on the attached audio file above. 2. Write a short sentence using each phrase in a real-life context. Example: Te amo con todo mi corazón ♥️ . (I love you with all my heart.) Te quiero mucho, amigo(a). 🫶🏽 (I love you a lot, my friend.) 3. Post your sentences in the Skool discussion forum under HOMEWORK AND PRACTICE and reply to at least two (2) classmates with encouragement or feedback. You can use audio or video to say your phrases and upload it. This is a great way to understand how native speakers express love and ensure you’re using the right phrase in the right situation. Let’s see those posted homework assignments which is due Sunday, February 16th at midnight. Homework assignment is only turned in under this HOMEWORK category. Other tabs will be considered a zero. Hola!
Hola everyone! My name is Latonya Rudolph. I hail from the state of Texas the city of Houston. I am a junior high counselor and have been in the field of education for quite some time. I am my wife and a mother of adult children. I am looking forward to becoming fluent in Español so that I can communicate better with my Spanish speakers and their families. It also wouldn’t help just to have that as an added tool in my tool kit.
