and a reminder to you as well, because... I never would have guessed the second thumbnail to perform better! Honestly super surprised right now.

Read a book about change, looked at my situation, decided to change, found a new direction, bought mandatory gear to start. Now while I might not be uploading, cus still waiting for gear. Broke it down to the fundamental skills I need to masterpiece. Working on them one by one
literally the best way to learn anything.
it’s not buying a $997 course, it’s something much more simple that I have started doing myself, and @Benjamin Ewert does it and you might have done it without realising. Everyone here is for YouTube so I’m going base my example for learning YouTube. It’s simply working… not for earning money. Theres one important catch to this, you have to find the right person to work for. To make your search easier… literally anyone who you think knows what you want to learn. Just reach out and offer to create a thumbnail, script, edit a video, I don’t recommend offering your work for free, you don’t want to seem like a trojant horse. If you don’t know who to reach out to, well just look for job offerings on discord. Now I garantee you might think, how can I (edit) for someone if I’m working to learn how to (edit) in the first place. Well, here’s what I did. I wanted to learn how to make engaging YouTube shorts. (I’m Not going into why) I found a guy looking for an editor, hopped on a call, I was a good fit for him. While I checked does he have the knowledge I wanted to learn. The point is you help with something you can do, to reach people that can teach you, what you want to learn. Now you get Paid to do something while having access to people that you can just ask and learn (Course that pays you to learn) I copied this straight from Benjamin. He does the exact same thing. He got invited to a 5k per person Mastermind, which he got paid to go to. Never be ashamed to copy, you see something work bam copy. Dont try to make something 10x times harder to satisfy your ego that you figured it out. Funny how school teaches the exact opposite.

@Rob Hadingham well what I want to learn im a complete beginner in, so I don’t need to aim for the top and compete against highly talented people, just someone a few steps ahead, so when your at the bottom getting the job is extremely simple, low supply. When I reach similar knowledge level as the teacher, just use the work portfolio, letting me reach even bigger people
Are shorts a trap?
I have watched this one man online (Average Guru) and he said that: DO NOT MAKE SHORTS! Because than the short viewers will destroy your retention on your long-form videos! For the context who this guy is: - He is making entertainment videos - He is making shorts himself Is this valid? And how should an educational creator look at this advice?

Short form viewers click on your long form watch couple seconds and click off, ruining your video, simple as that.
